Beautiful saw!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the saw a little over a month ago and it has proven itself to be a well worthy investment every time!! I can’t get over how much power it has!! I have been ripping 2” oak faster and more accurately than my buddy who has a worm drive circular saw!
It has all the capibiltites of my the old worm drives without the inconveniences of using a cord and having to constantly worry about trippin over it on the job!! A few guys have pointed out to me that it is bulky but I haven’t really found any situations where I need to get my circular saw into a tight spot, so to me the size it fine! And less than a pound heavier than my old worm drive! I’ll take the extra pound with the extra power it has over a CORDED saw!
The feature are also something to consider.. integrated blower removes debris away from cutting area as you work.. the BRAKE! This brake has to be the most effective brake I’ve ever seen!! Much needed in the situation of a kickback!! I have seen a few injuries with wormdrives and this brake would have prevented them from happening! Anyway GREAT SAW!!! No complaints!! I strongly recommend you buy this saw!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Iv been using the dcs577 wormdrive for half a year now. Since using it Iv hardly touched any other saw. This thing is a power house! Iv been running the 9ah battery in it and have no troubles ripping material. I’d like to get a few more of them in the future. Deffenatly my go to saw for now on!! Iv been telling everyone to get one!!

I was excited to finally pick up a cordless worm drive saw. This one worked great at first and it was great not having to move the cord around. After I was done with that job it was in my garage for two years. Grabbed it for another job and it was dead. Hard to believe that it didn't hold up. Save your money and buy something else!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great saw that showers you with saw dust

Saw has lots of power. Just wish they made an accessory to cover the hole where the saw dust goes all over you

It is a great skillsaw, lots of power and is better than corded skillsaws.
Only downfall is that it's heavier than most battery power skillsaw.

I use it to cut thru a 2 inch wide 36 in long butcher block made out of teak, and it just ate right thru it like butter.

Was in the market for a new saw, decided to give this one a try and I'm very happy with my decision! I use it for every cut on the site, and it really shines for rips! If you're skeptical, get this saw.
