Awesome saw but heavy

all day. If I had to list a downside to the saw, it would have to be the weight. It does cause a bit of arm fatigue if I’m using it all day long but that’s understandable because you’re practically walking around with a 7 1/4” handheld chop saw that can cut through anything with ease. My coworkers own battery saws from that other company that is red and they all ask to borrow mine so if you’re debating what saw is the best of all the battery saws on the market today, this is the one

I've got three different circular saws, and this one is a beast. Put a nice aggressive framing blade, and it cuts through just about anything like butter.

Must Have for Serious Cutting Schedules

Bought the Saw in early 2019. This is my 3rd DEWALT Cordless Saw in my inventory. The 1st 60V ... and there is no comparison to the power and quality in this beast. This is my Go-To saw for framing and and decking ... Even with a 6AH battery I can go most times all day. I added the edge rip guide for resaw and am impressed with the power deep in a compound timber lap-cut. I keep it in a TSTAK VI (DWST17806) with squares, pens and accessories and its ready to support any big task. I am SPOILED!

Tough

I’ve been tempted to compare to other brands but decided to fit the crew with this one because of its versatility and stability.

Just as powerful as a corded saw.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Working carpenter perspective: this saw replaces my corded circular saws. It has every bit as much power without the bother of a cord. While it's as hefty as a corded saw, that's not as bad as it sounds -- it tracks well. It doesn't kick like an old wormdrive saw, which is nice. The brake works well, though if you haven't pinned the guard back, that feature might not be important to you. Battery-life wise, I'll use it with 6 and 9 Ah batteries, and it takes quite a while to burn through them. If I was production framing, I'm sure I'd be switching batteries more often. Would buy this again in a heartbeat.
