Best saw I've ever used

Was in the market for a new saw, decided to give this one a try and I'm very happy with my decision! I use it for every cut on the site, and it really shines for rips! If you're skeptical, get this saw.

Awesome Saw

I'm a professional framer for starters, I've been framing houses for 20 years now. I was very interested when I first heard about this saw, so whenit came out I bought one. This saw had plenty of power, It has more power than my corded side winder saws. I love the fact that it spits all wood shavings out the side discharge for a clear cutting line. Fantastic. I like that fast adjust for cutting 22.5 deg and 45 deg miters. I also like the fast adjust for blade depth. This saw had so much power I'm in awe of it. Two things that I do not like, first is the safety, the push button needs to be a 1/8th" longer out each side to easily pouch it in with the side of your finger when engaging the trigger, I've learned to manage, but I'd change it if I could. Second is the guard lever, is far too short to grab easily, but again I'm managing. I still give this saw 5 stars and would recommend it. I've cut 3 days on a 9 ah battery, very impressive.

Extremely powerful

I got this for a truss job We're doing as it seemed to be easier than running cords through all the trusses for power, This thing has more power and cuts far easier than my corded circular saw. The only drawback to it has to be the weight. The fact the blade is on the opposite side of what I am used to also adds a bit of a learning curve to it

I use it to cut thru a 2 inch wide 36 in long butcher block made out of teak, and it just ate right thru it like butter.

This is a heck of a circular saw

I was attracted to this saw because I had watched videos of it in action and everyone points out how you can hear the power. Indeed, this has incredible power for a cordless circular saw, and the features are fantastic. This is a great addition to the DeWalt lineup!

Heavy and durable

Probably 30-40% more power than their first Flexvolt saw and you feel it. This version is worm drive style with a rafter hook, blade brake, safety start, metal blade guard and the blade on the left hand side. I still have an extension cord and skill saw on the truck but know I don’t need them anymore. This kit came with a fast charger and one 9 amp hour battery.

I bought this tool expecting a tool that is heavy and fault in energy. Once bought i this saw it was the complete contrary. The energy to cut 2x4 up to 4x4s is splendid no struggle in making cuts whatsoever. The saw has been equipped with so many safety features such as the automatic braking system. This feature has the standout blessing of saving one from accidentally cutting themseleves and/or others. The tool also has the automatic locking mechanism that does not allow the saw trigger to function without pressing down the lock. This saw has done plentyful and gets your job done the power is outstanding works as well as a skill saw. To own one of these is to have your tool speak for your experience in your A.O.
