I have limited counter space so went with the 9 speed hand mixer. Best mixer I've had to date, solid feel, like the location of the buttons and 9 speed gives me control when I need it and it looks good to boot!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kitchenAid 7 qt mixer is often too big for my smaller baking needs. I really needed hand mixer that was versatile. I love my 7 qt. so much that I decided to take a chance of the 9 speed. It is the perfect hand held mixer for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old Kitchenaid hand mixer finally wore out. I figured since it lasted 10 years I would invest again in Kitchenaid. I got the 9 speed and have used it twice in two weeks. It has great attachments and motor strength. It’s not heavy so that’s helpful. I like the range of speeds. I’m still getting used to the buttons to change speeds compared to a switch like my old one. So far I am satisfied with my choice.

The highest speed is still not very powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for this mixer because it's supposed to be the 9-speed, higher speed one of the series. I have been using it for 3 weeks to make cookies and cakes. I like the low speed which is great for mixing in flour. Sadly, I do not find it powerful enough for meringue or thicker cookie dough and am disappointed with this product. I understand that a stand mixer is stronger but I had a Cuisinart Hand Mixer for years that was more powerful than this brand new 9-speed hand mixer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
