This is a perfect and powerful hand mixer! It’s a perfect pairing with my stand mixer for smaller jobs that would be too much effort to get out the big mixer. I bought the silicon coated beaters and they worked fine, but were shorter than the regular ones that came with it. I made thick cookie dough with lots of nuts, dates, and raisins and it didn’t strain at all. I love the slow start feature, the easy ejecting beaters, the great set of attachments, the easy way I can adjust the speed while it’s running. I also am glad I didn’t buy another brand with silicone that is widely reported as shredding silicone into batters. This Kitchenaid is perfect. I love it. I bought a nice 2 level fabric zip carrying storage case for it on line elsewhere, it’s compact and easy to get the mixer out. It was a treat to use and clean this nice mixer. I’m picky, too.

I have limited counter space so went with the 9 speed hand mixer. Best mixer I've had to date, solid feel, like the location of the buttons and 9 speed gives me control when I need it and it looks good to boot!

It lost its 'punch' beating Meringue for a pie! Wish I had bought a better mixer.

This is my third kitchen aid hand mixer, first one was a wedding gift that I had for 20 years and was machine, second one not sure what model not as great, this model is like my original hand mixer is a machine! It is sleek and pretty in the stainless, very happy with my purchase.
