Look for a better kids GPS watch

Somewhat actuate location. Plus very flimsy glass. Kids bumped, and I do mean a slight bumped each other's arms and the screen spiderwebbed and cracked. Even had an expensive screen protector on both. So it's basically a $150 waste. Can't use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor battery life and gps is very inaccurate

I purchased this for my 8 year old son thinking it would be a great way for my wife and I to be able to communicate with him when he is at a friends house, and to see where he is when the bus is taking him home from school. The device is virtually useless. The call quality is fair. The gps is very inaccurate. The battery life is horrendous, about 4 to 5 hours at most.
My son found the device uncomfortable and difficult to wear for more than a few minutes due to the sharp and hard edges.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
