The Noice cancelation for calling is poor.

This is my second Bose headset in the year that i purchased, both has the same issue. They may be good for listening to music, but to receive calls or make calls this headset are made for that, my only complaint is i wish i could return them for a full refund.

The left ear doesn't work for single use. It's either the right ear or both

Incredible Noise Canceling

I purchased these about two weeks ago and the noise canceling features (different modes) are incredible. I bought these specifically for travel but use them for calls at home, while looking at TV in bed when the spouse is sleeping, while walking, and playing pickleball. 🙂 I also love that it comes with different ear size adjustments.

Good upgrade from Gen 1. Love the single ear option when listening to music. Doesn't always connect automatically when I put in my ear.

I liked the previous generation better

I bought these a couple weeks ago. The generation one case felt heavier and better made. This new case (1) feels cheaper and (2) now lacks the 3 aperture LED that showed battery life left in the case. This new case has just a single aperture.
The buds themselves have occasionally disconnected without reason from my phone. Still trying to figure out if it’s something I’m doing.
Finally, the package arrived in a shipping bag with return address being “Returns and Replacements”, Bose Yuma Distribution Center. Maybe it’s planned that way for new products but had me questioning from day 1 if I’ve just paid full price for a refurbished pair.

Sound Quality is good, with the Bose app

The sound quality is good for the size and type of drivers. You have to spend the time and fit the earpieces or you will not be happy. The biggest issue I have is successfully touching the left or right earpiece and having them do anything but shut off the music.
