Have had these buds about a month. Use them exclusively ar the gym. Can not hear anything other than my music! They stay put better than any other buds I have owned. I have owned about 10 sets of other buds. Could not justify the price until I got the refurbished email. My search is over!!

Hard to adjust volume.
Sometimes get disconnected from a bluetooth with no reason. Need to top back to the case for several seconds to overcome that.

I love the bass in these. The clarity of the music is exceptional. I'm loving the modes (the quiet mode is exactly what it says. I don't hear anything at all in my background, even if music isn't playing. These are just the best!

The Bose are BOSE!!!

I tried them all iPods, iPod pro, JBL, Sony and Beats. And then I tried the BOSE Q/C II end of story, there’s nothing else to say. Now don’t get me wrong the Beats are no slow leak they hold their own, But they’re not BOSE.
If you will I’d like to add, I’m a DJ almost 30yrs. And I’ve had the Kenwoods, Samsun, Cerwin Vega, JBL and Peavey. And then BOSE came out with L1- 8’s and changed the game, but I did one better I got a pair of L1-16’s and the game is Over! I just wanted to share that with whoever reads this. And to say BOSE is BOSS they are a little pricey, but don’t let the size fool you, cause in this case I assure you it doesn’t Matter…Peace!

Great Active Noise Cancelling!

Bose has always been the top dog when it comes to active noise cancellation. (After all, there is a reason most airline pilots use Bose headsets.) When the original Bose QuietComfort earbuds came out a few years ago, I was really excited. Bose was late to the wireless earbud game, but when they were finally released, it met my expectations, and I use them all the time. However, there is no denying that they are bulky when compared to the competition.
Enter the Bose QuietComfort 2. I'm pleased to say that they are significantly smaller than the previous model, and they seem to fit somewhat better because of that. The charging case is smaller (a welcome improvement), and the EQ is decent. The ANC works as designed, and they are great for shutting out the outside world. Another improvement is the simplified controls. The previous model had a complex system where each earbud did something different, but in this model they do the same thing. Power users might miss the customization of the previous model, but I think most users will appreciate these changes.
Overall, a good pair of earbuds for the price. You cannot go wrong with Bose.

Great ear buds

I had the previous version of these ear buds and in all ways this one is an upgrade.
They are smaller, have better clarity and sound, and the battery seems to last a little longer.
For fit you get a bunch of tips that help you get a perfect fit. With the provided tips both me (big ears) and my wife (tiny ears) can get these to fit perfectly.
Battery life could be better but the case can recharge the buds multiple times before you have to plug the case in to recharge the case. The case is nice and small so it is easy to keep the case in a purse or a pocket. The noise cancellation is amazing.
Being Bose the sound quality is great. Nice upgrade from the old version and much better than competitors.

Big, Impressive Sound

The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II are just amazing. They are light and fit tight in the ear feeling very secure while not being cumbersome. The noise cancelling is light and blocks out just enough ambient noise while listening to create a very immersive experience. Music is surprisingly crisp and clear with astonishing levels of bass. They are by far the best sounding earbuds I've ever tried. The smartphone app is clean and easy to navigate. All the settings are within a couple clicks. The charging case is about as small as it could be made and feels very sturdy. You will not be disappointed.

Great Earbuds

The new Bose Quiet Comfort Earbuds II are the latest entry into high end ANC (Active Noise Control) offered in the form of lightweight compact earbuds. The following is my review based on about 5 days of user tests:
Design:
Bose has created a sleek carrying case in a matte black finish. The earbuds live and charge in the case and connect via magnets. The overall form factor is slim with minimal protrusion from your ears. The internet photos do not do it justice and anyone saying it looks like an old Bluetooth headset is wrong. The slim design is a hit with simple one touch controls on both buds that can be used for typical music and phone controls, including adjusting volume, skipping tracks and answering calls. My only complaint with the design is that only the right bud has a microphone and must be worn for phone calls. I have not done a full test but literature states 6-hour battery life. I have worn these for about 4 hours on “Quiet Mode” (Full ANC), with zero issues. The case does not offer wireless charging and must be charged with the included USB-C cable. The case has a dedicated Bluetooth pairing button which simplifies the pairing process.
Fit: The buds are lightweight and are extremely comfortable to wear for prolonged sessions. Out of the box the buds come with 3 different ear tips and 3 different stability bands. Adjusting these are super simple and the user software offers a “Fit test” which helps users understand and perform the task of changing the parts out. As mentioned in design the buds themselves do not protrude drastically from the ear canal and are super comfortable to wear. I have not experienced any ear fatigue while wearing these. I have done various workouts using the buds and at no point did I feel concerned about them falling out from my ears even when they got wet from sweat. Bose states they are IPX4 rated.
Sound: At the end of the day people buy earbuds to listen to things, be that podcast, calls and of course music. The audio quality on these are absolutely phenomenal. Upon placing the buds in ear the buds chime in what Bose is calling “CustomTune Sound Calibration.” Which I will get more into in the “ANC” portion. I can say without any doubt these are the best audio quality earbuds I have ever used. With rich bass and an in app EQ music is clear and loud. I like metal music and nothing gets muddled while listening. The audio quality is second to none and just amazing given the size and that they are earbuds. Calls are super crisp and clear and nobody ever questioned whether or not “I was on Bluetooth” while making calls.
ANC Technology: This is where these buds are superior to any other wireless earbuds on the market. Out of the box the buds come with two modes “Quiet MODE” (Full ANC) and “Awareness MODE” (Allows outside noise in) which are easily changed by the one touch controls. Upon inserting the buds into the ear the buds play a chime as part of their “CustomTune Sound Calibration” which apparently adjust the level on the fly regarding the ANC. Quiet Mode is typical BOSE fashion and the ANC technology these buds offer are great. I don’t get that stuffy feeling like other ANC headphones and the rattle of the plane I took was practically nonexistent. It also completely removed the rattle of the air conditioner in my room while I watched movies. The “Awareness MODE” is also a complete surprise, as for the first time it doesn’t feel like fake sound. In other buds with similar modes the buds create a sensation as if a computer was recording audio outside and playing it back into my ears. During work and while walking my dog I used this mode to keep my wits about me and maintained focus. Surprisingly this is my favorite part of the earbuds. The comfort plus the realistic awareness mode allows me to keep them in ear for a prolonged time without issue. You can play audio while in this mode and still hear what is going on around you. The BOSE app allows for up to 4 Custom Modes where you can label and change the level on the ANC. I found the default settings were perfect. Overall the ANC in this product is phenomenal.
Conclusion: I am in absolute love with these headphones and heavily recommend them to anyone interested in high end ANC earbuds. The comfort due to the custom fit, the new bolstered technology of the ANC and the drivers in these slim earbuds create rich full and crisp sounds with minimal ear protrusion are an absolute hit. Bose knocked it out of the park with these.
