I bought these for myself for Christmas and I couldn’t be happier! Great quality sound, noise canceling and long battery life. My only issue (and it’s a minor one) they are hard to get out of the storage case. Other than that they are exactly what I wanted for my workouts and activities!

In-ear buds that actually sound good

I just wanna say up front that I was gifted this. However, I tried my best to give this a fair review as if I bought it myself.
Overview: I've had a lot of inear earbuds in my life time. One of my very first that I bought with my own money was actually Bose's first in ear headphones. Those of you who have been using Bose long term may remember them as the ones with the black and white strips on the cord. After trying the Sony XM3 wireless buds, Sennheiser's Momentum Trues, Apple Airpods and Airpods Pro, Samsung's Buds2 Pro, I can say out of those that the Bose Quietcomfort Earbuds are easily my go to from the bunch. From the good sound quality to the awesome ANC, and a useable battery life, I pretty much carry these anywhere I go.
Design: I feel like theres not much to say about the design of these earbuds, which is very subjective. They may not be sleek as the Airpods people like to use, but they are not too bad. What I did like was the comfortability. While at first, putting the earbuds in, I was afraid that they would be too big and that my ears would get hot over prolonged use. Giving it some time on long airplane trips and on the train, I can say that that didn't happen at all. They were very comfortable at all times and do stay in your ear. I even use them for running and they stayed in place the whole time. They do include some small and large earbud tips to change out if necessary. The case is a little large though. While it is still pocketable, I would say its the largest out of its competitors. The case offers 3 hours of charge and the earbuds themselves carry about 6 hours. So you have a total of 9 running hours which is more than enough to get you through a whole day.
Sound: This may be very biased as I'm very accustomed to Bose's sound. Why I like it is that the soundstage is nice and bright, mids come through very well and depending on the type of music you're listening too, you can hear the individual instruments very clearly. The biggest downside to the sound though is the bass. It loses out to the Sennheisers and Sony in this aspect, so you may not get the full bodied sound some are looking for if you're listening to songs and music that rely on the bass. Boss has definitely improved on kicking up the bass in their products, but compared to its competitors, its still a little behind. I would say however though, that despite that setback, it more than makes up for it with everything else. The ANC in the Bose earbuds is also very decent. While using it on the airplane it drowned out a lot of the background noise. Using it at the gym, I couldn't hear any of the background noise! I would say the only competitor it falls behind is the Apple Airpods Pro, but not by a ton.
Software: This is the biggest gripe I have about this product. I feel like the Bose app is severely lacking in features. In the app you have access to an EQ, modes that you can set and shortcuts (one tap on side). Its tough to use, pairing doesn't always work through the app (more reliable just going to your phone's bluetooth settings). Comparing this to Sony's or Sennheiser's app, I feel like the competitors give you a ton more options to really dial down how you like your headphones. This could be just user error and I'm looking for a thousand options. The bose app is definitely on the leaner more simple side of things.
Final thoughts: Despite the app, I think bose has a very excellent product here. If you're a fan of the QuietComfort series, these earbuds would make a great choice if you're in the market for wireless earbuds with ANC. At $300 USD, they're very comparable to their competitors and I would definitely buy another pair in the future.

Terrible connection issues

Received the quiet comfort II after my quiet comfort I’s died just after a year. One of the ears wouldn’t connect or charge to anything. After I received the replacement just about 2-3 weeks later I’m having the same connection kisses. It’ll connect but will not play music. Or only one ear bud will connect. Save you your money and use a different product.

Best earbuds hands down!

I ride in a "no helmet required state", these bad boys work great! Easy to use with my gloves, able to adjust surrounding noise to keep my awareness high. Used the previous model, worked great, but didn't know what I was missing until these slipped into my ear canal and graced my ear drums with what I can only describe as Apollo's son Orpheus whispering sweet nothing into my ears! Firm believer in Bose quality, been using them for years. I do not have nor will I have children, but if I did, I would make sure to keep the Bose Legacy in my bloodline. They do much more than play music or take calls, they tickle one of the five senses, just slightly as if to give our hearing goosebumps! The app used to control noise cancelling and make preset settings that even Helen Keller could use and appreciate, its awe-inspiring. 5 star review doesn't do it Justice, and here in 2023 we as American's are all about Justice. If you love yourself or your significant other, don't settle for anything less then the best, you deserve it, you are worthy, you are loved and Bose makes you feel that.

I did a lot of research before determining which noise cancellation earbuds I would buy. These were top rated and I am so happy with my purchase! There a lots of features and I suggest watching the videos to discover all the unique smart features. I'm doing a lot of traveling this summer and these earbuds give me quality sound even in the noisiest environments.

Great start - devastating performance

Is great - at the beginning. Then you realize the Bose app is pretty useless and half of the time doesn't connect to the headphones. And after about 6 months you must replace the headphones due to poor quality in manufacturing. Can't recommend, and makes me question the overall quality of Bose brand.
