Not Happy with the Bose Quiet Comfort Earbuds II

I was very disappointed with the QuietComfort Earbuds II. I listen to music and news cast at low volumes and the white noise from these earbuds is overwhelming. I was much happier with the QuietComfort I. I don't understand how upgrades for Bose Earbuds actually are moving in the wrong direction. I wish Bose would spend more time perfecting their products before releasing them to ensure their customers are truly satisfied when paying a premium for new/upgraded products.

Hello, In regard to the white noise from the earbuds. Any speaker or headphones designed with batteries and other active electronics may introduce a low-sounding hum or hiss when the power is turned on. This is commonly referred to as a “noise floor” and may or may not be heard by the user. This is normal operation for this type of audio equipment and should only be heard in quiet environments when the power is turned on and no other audio source is playing.

So far so good. I have only had the unit for several weeks now.
I did notice that the unit charges better with the Bose charging cord it came with and not so well with another USB-C cable which is not from Bose. The unit still only allows for speaking with the right side only. I wish you could use either side.

Bought them 11 months ago with the (continued) promise that there would be firmware upgrades to add aptX codecs. Never happened. Called Bose when I saw the intro of the Ultras. Was told the chipset in the IIs would never accommodate aptX and I should buy the Ultras Then I read a Bose exec say aptX is coming. Either You guys ripped us off or you have no idea what your product capabilities are.I expected better from you

I use it daily for long time periods. Great features and product. Best noice cancellation. Little to sorry battery life for me needs... 6 hours, however quick recharge! But... Recurring technical issues with lost contact to one of Earbuds and to reset and reconnect can drive me crazy.

The buds sound great. The only suggestion I have is to make them easier to remove from case. They are small and hard to pull out of charging case, easy to drop.
