While quietcomfort II had other good reviews I didn't have the same experience. These earbuds do have great sound and noise canceling, but I found them much less comfortable than the first version. Additionally, I had multiple complaints while on phone calls that I could not be heard. Overall, i think they are overrated.

Hello. It's good to hear you feel these earbuds have great sound and noise canceling. The earbuds have built-in microphones that filter out ambient noise to focus your voice and deliver conversations clearly. It is unusual to hear that people have been unable to hear you. You can find guidance here to ensure the buds work best on calls https://bose.life/3G2OAae The buds are designed to maximize comfort with soft ear tips and stability bands. Great Sounding Buds, but App lacks features.

These really do sound amazing and the ANC is top tier! Very comfortable, and I didn't have many issues with them slipping out or leaking in environment noise. The audio was pretty well balanced and produced lows pretty good for a small bud.
But after a week I decided to return them due to lack of features and I was not a fan of the Bose app at all. For this price, I think it's only right to have the same features other brands have, and maybe some to set them apart. Here's a few of the flaws that lead me to return them: -No wireless charging case -Only right bud can be used independently -can't turn off touch controls (adjusting them, rain, hood, hair sometimes triggers sensors) -can't locate/track my buds -Only 3 band EQ and no sound customization. -no multiple device connection. -call quality was mediocre -ANC adds white noise, not a fan.
If it was just for music and you can accept the mentioned problems, I would still recommend the QC2's to those that can splurge $250 for buds. But for the price, I would like the whole package. I'll be on the look out for the next one.

Poor fitting, leading to lost earbud.

You've heard of the pros of the Bose Quiet Comfortable 2; here is the negative. The eartip is a rubbery two piece unit desigened to work together to seal and secure the earbud in your ear. The problem is the desig of the outer rubbery ring is not the best. The ring slips around on the earbud and easily gets twisted out of place. Sometimes its hard to tell if it is corretly positioned or not. In addition, if the ring is out of position when the buds are placed in the case, the buds won't charge.
I ended up loosing one of the earbuds in the first month of ownership. These Bose earbuds are too expensive to have tis sort of problems.
If you only plan on using them while sitting at a desk, or laying in bed, they may be ok for those purposes, for any other type of outdoor activity, Id look to another brand.

Hello TJ,
The two part design is to ensure that you can get a fully customized secure fit. The Stability bands and earbuds both have indicator dots on them to ensure that they are aligned correctly. Our guide here https://bose.life/3uBOMXd shows how to ensure they are correctly aligned on the earbuds.
While it is unfortunate that you've lost one of your earbuds. We'd be happy to help you with replacing the lost earbud. Reach out to us https://bose.life/38DNELy and we can get you sorted.

I have a few Bose products because the sound quality is unmatched. The Bose QCII earbuds meet my expectations of Bose for sound quality and for the price they better! I initially struggled with the fit but tried the different sizes of ear tips and ear wings until I found the combination that fit. I'm glad there were different size options because who knew my ears are different sizes. Connecting through the Bose Music app is a bit clunky but once connected it works. There are several "options" (called modes) for listing with and without noise canceling but in the end there are really only 2 options that make sense...noise canceling on or noise canceling off. Let me tell you, the noise canceling is amazing. The other options allow you to adjust the level of background sounds you can hear while using the earbuds. I also have the Bose QC20 wired earbuds which worked really well until the wire somehow got damaged and now shorts uncontrollably. I mention the QC20 earbuds because I had certain expectations. The Bose QCII earbuds meet my expectations, plus I don't have to worry about about wires shorting out. It would be great if the instructions or a QR code to the instructions were readily available. Bose does a good job of sending emails with tips & tricks which help me learn how to get the most out of my QCII earbuds.

Best in- ear (maybe incluidng over ear) NC

I have been upgrading my Noise Canceling in-ear and over ear headphones for years now. These are better than the newest AirPod Pro, and possibly better than the Over the Ear Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700. The over the ear has better (different) sound quality in many respects.
The case hinge is a HUGE fail. Breaks very easily and it's $100 for a new case. No coverage unless broken when recieved.
Using the larger earfit pieces makes charging difficult. A rubber band around the case keeping the lid closed helps.

I bought mine Bose Quite Comfort ll a little over a month ago. Good: Very happy with sound as always Bose did a great job on that. Love the Quite Comfort of it. Also, finally they are smaller than previous generation earbuds and look nice when wearing. Bad: I can only use right earbud if I only want to use one (Bose says they are working on it, so you can use either) we'll be waiting. Another issue I have is, I can't run/bike or even wear them in a windy day, you can hear the wind blow and quite comfort doesn't even work. Also, one of the reason I loved Bose earbuds was the way they were sitting in the ear, now you have to shove them in, which I don't really like. Please go back to those comfy silicone fittings!
