Convenient solution

We had a pair of bedside lamps that we loved. But the on/off switch broke on one of them from repeated use. We bought new lamps and decided the dimmer switch would be a good idea to prevent that from happening again. It has worked beautifully and is actually a really convenient way to turn the lamps on and off when you’re about to nod off. Should have thought of this sooner! (We also eventually got the lamp fixed so that we continue to enjoy those lamps elsewhere in the house.)

Disappointment in the tabletop dimmers

Using the dimmer results in the lamp flickering to an annoying degree.

Added this to our new table lamp, and it is awesome. Small, so it doesn't take up a lot of room on the side table. Gives us the option of a dim tv light or a bright reading light.
