Battery Life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the Blower and Trimmer and both came with the 80v batter. Both betteries only lasted one full season. Really though I would get more out of them. IMO these batteries are poor.
Pros: Convenient
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The rate of degradation depends on how well the battery is maintained. There are different variables to consider giving an adequate answer. Greenworks takes as much pride in our battery and charger. The 80V platform batteries have been tested over 1000 charges. I love the 80 volt tools!! With my yard they last the entire job,mowing,edging and blowing the yard. I have had 2 Hattiesburg for 6 years until one finally gave out so this purchase was well worth the money.

Great battery it adds significantly to the runtimes of my chainsaw. I should have bought this sooner it would have made it so much easier to cut down the old cherry tree that died in the last storm.

Very poor quality battery, literally disposable

Less than a year and I already have 2 defective batteries. I use the equipment only once every 15 days.
