Long lasting. I mean more like their life span . While I haven’t exhausted any yet , four years and running with no discernible power loss . These batteries have held up and preformed well thus far .
I would recommend this to a friend!

All three . Operating five and six years including two batteries and charge no issues at all. Both 80v batteries charged on one charger sitting on shelf plugged into protected plug on inside wall of insulated garage all walls and ceiling. Own a 43 year old Honda mower considering 25” pro mower if I can use these batteries.

Poor Battery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the lawnmower last summer and it came with 2 batteries, one is a 4.0 Ah, 288 WH and the other is a 2 Ah 144 WH. There is no explanation on where there are 2 different batteries in the owners manual. I have charged the batteries about 6 times. The 2 Ah is still charging fine. But, after the first cut this season, the 4.0 Ah battery will not charge and I get the flashing red light. I followed the trouble shooting guidelines but still red blinking light. I lawnmower cuts well and would be ideal if the batteries worked well.

Hello Patrick63, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with this product. We are concerned to read that you are feeling let down and that the unit has not fully met your expectations. This charger will not ignite any lights until the battery is engaged. Once the battery has been properly seated, the light should communicate with the battery and ignite. Here are what each color light means! Flashing Green = Battery charging Solid Green = Battery is fully charged Flashing Red = Charging fault Solid Red = Battery is either too hot or too cold When the battery is inserted into the charger and the status LED blinks red, remove the battery from the charger for 1 minute, then reinsert. If the status LED blinks green, then the battery is properly charging. If the status LED is still blinking red, remove the battery and unplug the charger for 1 minute. After 1 minute, plug in the charger and reinsert the battery. If the status LED blinks green, then the battery is properly charging. If the status LED is still blinking red, then this likely indicates an issue with the battery or charger. If the issue persists, please contact us directly through chatbot on www.greenworkstools.com that will direct you to a live agent or call us on Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline at 1-855-345-3934. Our team would be happy to investigate this with you further.

Hello Short life
We are sorry to hear of your experience with the 80V battery & charger. To charge the battery, plug the charger into an AC power outlet. Insert the battery into the charger. Please take a moment to review the included video providing details how to charge the battery.
This is a diagnostic charger. The Charger LED Lights will illuminate in specific order to communicate. the current battery status. They are as follows: Blinking Green > Charging. Solid Green > Fully Charged. Solid Red Over > Temperature. Blinking Red > Charging Fault.
A green flashing light indicates that the battery is charging. A solid green light indicates that the battery is fully charged. Flashing red - fault. False Defect Note: When the battery is inserted into the charger, and the status LED flashes, remove the battery from the charger for 1 minute, then reinsert. If the status LED indicates normal than the battery pack is good. If the status LED is still blinking, remove the battery pack and unplug the charger. Wait 1 minute and plug the charger back in and reinsert the battery pack. If the status LED indicates normal than the battery pack is good. If the status LED is still blinking, then the battery pack may mean a faulty battery and needs to be replaced. Solid red means that the battery is at the wrong temperature to be charged (too hot or too cold). Bring the battery and charger indoors for about 15 minutes before trying to charge again. Charging the 80V battery (https://youtu.be/g8Xz43deavo?t=134). We hope this helps! Should you continue to experience an issue we urge you to start a Live chat on Greenworks Tools site (www.greenworkstools.com) or call Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline 1-855-345-3934.

Renewed 80v 2.5a worked okay for first couple months of occasional use. Now that we are outside the 90 day guarantee, the battery will no longer charge. Don’t risk the small savings of renewed, you’ll end up with an expensive paperweight

Stayed on our property this spring and summer during the virus outbreak, cleaning or grove and surrounding yard trees. Stays charged for 2 hours and recharges very quickly. A little noisy when charging.
