Good Mower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the Greenworks 80v mower for almost 2 seasons and am completely satisfied. It is well built and cuts my grass uniformily and well. I cut about 1/4 acre which requires about 1-1/2 battery cycles. If the grass is high and/or wet the mower boggs down and occasionally stalls. The battery also discharges more quickly. I’m having trouble with the charger now and will see how well Greenworks backs up their product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent construction, with easy to operate controls. I love that the cutting height adjustment is super simple and very quick to accomplish. It's also quite easy to remove the battery and reinstall after charging. Another plus is that it is compatible with my other 80V Greenworks tools batteries. The only negative about this mower is that since this is not a self-propelled machine, it can be hard to push when the bag starts getting full.
Pros: Convenient, Cost-Saver, Quiet, Durable, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great for mid size lawns. Probably need a larger battery if you have a larger size yard, but has been the best mower I've ever had and is perfect for what I need it to do

In love with our new Greenworks Mower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Massive Upgrade from our last lawn mower! This is not our first rodeo with Greenworks. Our last mower, dual blade from Greenworks, treated us well for about 8 years. But we felt it was time to upgrade and so glad we did. Not only does it charge so much faster then our last one, we love the push assist.
Pros: Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Quiet, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first, it was incredible. And then after 6 months, the self-propel stopped working. 1.5 years later one of the batteries is defective and flashing red. If not for these two things I would give it 5 stars and highly recommend. When it's working well, it's pretty incredible.

Hello SomeHuskerFan.
We are sorry to hear of the issues you experienced. We can see you have been in touch with our team, and we are happy they were able to assist you with this warranty claim. The overall battery life is dependent on many factors such as where they have been stored, charged, and handled. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. It is recommended to store the battery with a full charge, and if it is being stored for a period where no use is expected, to check on the charge every couple of months. If you notice the charge has dropped, we advise charging the battery back up to full before returning it to its safe storage place. Following these steps will ensure you receive the most of the battery life. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know we are here to help. We can be reached by Live Chat on www.greenworkstools.com. By phone 1-888-909-6757. you could also refer to the FAQ ask section of the tool or ask us a question. Thank you.

Mows great but sucks at discharging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this mower because I have a couple of customers who have really steep hills in their yards and I can not use a gas powered mower on them so I have been weedeating these hills for the last few years and I was finally tired of it. I figured a battery powered mower would not lock up because it was being starved for oil and it would make mowing these hills a lot quicker and easier.
I accidentally ordered the non-self propelled model and thought I was going to regret it, but I don't. It is extremely easy to push and does not feel like you're pushing a 75 pound mower up and down a hill. It stays pretty straight on the hills and does a decent cut job.
My only issue is the blade. The blade will not throw the clippings out the side. It lays them out the side in nice little rows like a sickel bar mower does to a hay field. If Greenworks would give us some medium lift blade choices, I bet this review would be 5 stars.
The mower has been great and serves its purpose well. It even has me considering getting the 30 inch commercial mower.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Effective
