The chain slips off too easy and the battery does not last very long. If you have a few trees to cut it might suffice but I’m really disappointed in this product.

Thank your for taking the time to share your experience. While the chain is installed on the bar, it will require to be tensioned and adjusted prior to your first use and frequently while cutting as new chains will stretch out.
We would recommend reviewing the tensioning steps as outlined in your instruction manual. Ensure the chain tensioner is tight enough to keep the bar from moving.
With the 4.0Ah battery included the unit will be able to cut up to 70 pieces of 4x4 pressure treated wood.
If you continue to experience the same concerns, we recommend contacting Greenworks at 1-888-909-6757 or by email on info@greenworkstools.com a Customer Care support can evaluate the chain saw, the chain tensioner assembly, bar, and chain with you.
