[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to assemble, start up and use. I haven't had it long, so I can't speak to longevity yet, but so far so good.
Pros: Easy to Use, Quiet

I do like the light weight, and quite functioning. However, I have tried multiple times/setting to get it to mulch and not leave a mess behind (clumps of non-mulched and missed blades of grass) on my healthy yard, even when barely taking anything off the top. I have reached out to Support and they sent me the "best" blade they have (which looked just like the one it came with), this was of no benefit. I pulled out my ~20+yr old gas mower and it still does a much better job of cutting and mulching than this mower (leaves little to no visible remnants). Maybe it would work better on a yard not as healthy and thick as my small yard. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a battery powered mower.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Environmentally Safe

Hello RGCvik. We are sorry to hear the mulching performance has not met your expectations, especially since you have already taken the time to try different settings and even worked with support on a blade replacement. While it is good to hear you are enjoying the lighter weight and quiet operation, clumping and visible clippings can occur when grass conditions are too heavy, damp, or when too much is cut in a single pass, even on healthy lawns. For best mulching results, we recommend mowing more frequently and ensuring no more than one-third of the grass height is removed per cut, as well as confirming the mower is set to the correct mulching configuration with a clean, properly installed blade. Cutting at a slightly higher deck setting and reducing ground speed can also help improve airflow and clipping circulation under the deck. That said, we understand your comparison to a gas mower and appreciate your candid feedback. If you would like additional support or a technical review of your unit’s performance, the Greenworks Tools customer success team is available to help further. They can be reached either using the online chat function, on Greenworks Tools page, or by calling 1-888-909-6757.

Nice Mower - Worth the Expense

Easy transition from my garden tractor to this self-propelled mower. Can do my full yard using only 2/3 of battery. Mulches very well without binding up as long as the height setting is correct - no clumps of grass left. Turbo boost for dense grass kicks in nicely and gets you through quickly. Self-propelled feature is great as the mower is a bit heavy. So far so good after two mowings. Get great exercise and the lawn looks nice. I have to do much less trimming with my Greenworks weed-wacker as I can get closer to the edges with the mower than I could with my tractor. A bit expensive but I am completely satisfied with the performance and the look of my lawn.
I LOVE my new mower and leaf blower. I was never a leaf blowing sort of girl, considering that dumb cord and all, however this battery operated version with a THROTTLE has changed my life. Also, the mower is super light and much quieter than the obnoxious combustion engine variety. Planning to replace all my gas guzzlers with these fabulous little green machines!
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful

Rough lot needs different tools first.

I bought this item to mow two vacant lots on my block. The ground was so rough with weeds that I only cut the berm and 3 feet of the front lawn while burning through half of the battery. The mower struggled to move forward. There were some rough weeds on the site which did cotribute to the difficulty. So, I'll go back with a swing blade soon. I became exhausted. I'll try again soon.
Pros: Environmentally Safe

Thank you for your feedback on the 80V 21" Self-Propelled Mower (SKU 2550402 / MO80L416). Based on your description, it sounds like the conditions, heavy overgrowth, uneven terrain, and thick weeds, were beyond what a single-pass cut is typically designed to handle, which can lead to higher battery draw and reduced self-propel performance. For best results in these environments, we recommend first clearing the area to reduce overall vegetation height, then mowing in stages rather than attempting a full cut in one pass, starting at a higher deck setting and gradually lowering it on subsequent passes to avoid overloading the blade and drive system. Slowing your forward pace and ensuring the underside of the deck is clear of built-up debris can also help improve airflow and cutting efficiency, especially in dense growth. In very rough or uneven lots, breaking the area into smaller sections and avoiding wet or matted weeds will further reduce strain on the battery. For additional guidance, Greenworks Tools also offers an official instructional video on mowing overgrown grass conditions, which demonstrates best practices for tackling challenging terrain and maximizing runtime. We hope you will find this information helpful. If you require any additional support or have questions regarding a product, we recommend trying our Q&A section on products' page or Chat with us direct on our website or call 1-888-909-6757. Great Lawn Mower !!

I bought this lawnmower a couple years ago. Love it! I have 1/3 acre of lawn, and the mower and battery handles it just fine. The 4-in-1 functionality is real, and works quite well. I use the mower in the fall to mulch and pick up the leaves from our very large tree. This was one of the BIG reasons why I bought the mover in the first place! No gas, no oil, no smell. Also I store the mower on-end against the garage wall which is quite convenient. Try that with a gas mower.
