Powerful, Quiet, and Cuts Thicker Foliage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm quite pleased with this trimmer. It's extra long, really cuts through anything I need trimmed, and even takes on small branchers that need pruning. It's quiet and powerful, too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Trimming hedges is a seasonal event in my area, so the constant cleaning and rebuilding of idle carburetors was getting annoying. I didn’t think a battery powered hedger could keep up with gas powered. I was wrong. The Greenworks 80v hedger is doing everything I would expect from my gas unit and more. Surprised by how light and comfortable it is to use. No more mixing fuel, cleaning out the carb, loud motor, and hot exhaust. I will be converting more tools over to Greenworks.

Excellent Hedge Trimmer - battery inconsistent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tool itself is very effective and a beast for battery operated hedge trimmer, but the battery itself is not. Fortunately I have another 80V battery from my blower tool that is far more effective despite being 3 years old. If you already have a 80V battery that works well and holds a charge consider buying the tool only as the batteries are not consistent in my experience. I also have a few 40V products too. I do try to stick with Greenworks to be consistent with other tools. I find them reliable tools, but batteries are inconsistent and had better experience with Milwaukee but sold that set off after a move.

It’s powerful, lightweight, and makes clean cuts every time. Battery life is solid, and it’s easy to control for long trimming sessions. Great tool for anyone.
