Great power and battery life

This tool cuts through hedges with ease, even the slightly larger diameter branches. The battery lasts about an hour before a recharge is needed. It works so well, that I get a little scissor happy and started trimming back some pricker bushes that were becoming unruly at the edge of my woods. Can't speak highly enough about the convenience of battery powered tools.

I owned the 80V blower and hedge trimmer and was impressed so buying the pole hedge trimmer was an easy decision when I decided to replace my old pole trimmer. I've owned the new one for two weeks and it's become my go to hedge trimmer for almost everything. The cutting power is tremendous, equal to a gas trimmer as it makes easy work of difficult projects. I trimmed 40 feet of Winter Gem hedge that used to take 2 hours in 30 minutes with the new trimmer. Outstanding.

This is one of the best yard tools I've ever bought!!! No gas and oil to mix and smoke to breath, no extension cord and very long battery life, and I don't smell like I just came out from under the car. I have lots of shrubs and these are just what I needed. Highly recommend!!

Nice trimmer but could use some better engineering

My new hedge trimmer works great with the 80v battery I have been using for years with other GW equipment. However, because the trimmer cannot be used unless the entire pole assembly is together, it can be difficult to use and maneuver. The unit does break down into two pieces but there is currently no way to use the trimmer without the second extension pole attached, it has the on/off handle/switch!? I would be willing to purchase an additional attachment were it available that is basically the on/off handle/switch that could plug into the trimmer and it's handle. No added extension, just the on/off controller.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GREAT CORDLESS POLE HEDGE TRIMMER

Just used for the first time the new cordless 60v pole hedge trimmer and was surprisingly pleased with its features, weight is well balanced and feels light, the blade is sharp and the angle adjustments were ideal. I used the trimmer for over an hour and was still cutting. Overall a lot better than my gas hedge trimmer, lighter and don't have to wear ear mufflers and gas emission to breathe in. Easy storage due to a small footprint. 4 years warranty on both tool and battery is hard to beat. GREAT JOB GREENWORKS!

Very powerful but a bit heavy

I bought 60V hedge trimmer with a 2ah battery. Coming from a 18V trimmer, this Greenworks product is way more powerful, but I have to say this added power comes with a price - 50% more money and much heavier. I can deal with that extra weight, although after 30min you feel the difference. My wife has an excuse now...

I needed to move away from corded hedge trimmers due to distance from the plug. I dislike having to mix oil in the gas so I chose the greenworks 24 inch cordless hedge trimmer. I have been using this tool for just about a year now and have had zero issue with it. The battery lasts longer than it takes to do all the hedges around my property. The blades are sharp enough and powerful enough that I have not encountered any hedges that it will not cut. I definitely chose the right product for the job.
