I used this almost right away to trim some boxwood bushes in front of my house. It worked great! It also did well on some very overgrown grass alongside my pond in the back. I already have a Greenworks 80VDC blower and weed trimmer, which have been very reliable for two years.

This thing is a beast. It is a bit heavy with the 80V battery for me (I am a petite woman with no upper body strength) so the fact I can wield this at all is pretty great. It takes down some sizable branches I had planned to use loppers on- it’s like part hedge trimmer part chainsaw! Very happy with this purchase and that the battery is interchangeable with our lawnmower and I got the edger to go with the set! I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t tired after but for someone who has used a regular hedge trimmer this will probably be a treat!

Just like my other Greenworks 80v tools, I used it and I fell in love with it. Great for trimming small branches and bushes. I wish it was easier to wipe and clean afterwards, but that's probably all hedge trimmers out there. Good stuff!

I purchased this at the beginning of the season. I was tired of constantly fighting with a gas powered trimmer that was in the shop more than is wasn't.
It has a long battery life, and works well. I use it professionally.
