[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this a couple weeks and could not be happier with it. We live on a couple acres and need it for along the fences. It is perfect to get that job done.

Bad Lawnmover
on August 20, 2025

I bought this lawn mover 80V 21" self propelled lawn move to upgrade my 40V push mover, I bought in feb 25 for this summer, all time I used it gave me more hassle. for level 4 also it doesn't work - i mean to finish small front and back yard lawn I have - I have to restart this device more than 3 times. Charging also doesn't last.
When I called support, I was told to use 5 or 6 level, means cut nothing? Also alternate I was told to turn the lawn mover (which i never did for 40v or any in past since 2007) and clean. I will try that if that helps but to me why I need to clear that - I never did for any of my past 3+ lawn mover since 2007.

Hello Bpatel.
We are sorry to hear about the difficulties you have experienced with your 80V 21" Self-Propelled Lawn Mower. We understand how frustrating it is when a new mower does not perform as expected, especially when your 40V model worked more smoothly for you.
This 80V mower is designed for higher power output, which can make it more sensitive to factors such as cutting height, grass thickness, and buildup under the deck. If grass accumulates beneath the mower, it can restrict airflow and reduce cutting efficiency and occasionally cleaning underneath the deck can help restore performance. We recommend doing this only when the battery is removed for safety.
Regarding runtime, actual cutting time can vary depending on the height and density of the grass, the mowing mode used, and terrain. Using higher height settings (levels 5 or 6) does not mean “cutting nothing,” but allows the mower to maintain power more effectively in thick or tall grass. For shorter, well-maintained lawns, lower settings should work better once the deck is clear.
We appreciate your feedback and want to make sure your mower works the way it should. If cleaning the deck does not resolve the issue, please reach back out to our support team with your unit and battery information so we can assist further under warranty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good features, easy to use. Would be better if comes with an extra battery. The company app is not available in the US, that's weird. Registration is a hassle, can't download the receipt.

An "Okay" mower
on September 9, 2025
Posted by: Mark54
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have now used the mower two times, and I have mixed feelings. The biggest pro is the fact that the cutting height for all four wheels is controlled with a single lever - no more having to adjust each wheel. But there are more cons than pros. First, the battery drains quicker than expected - it cost me extra, but I'm glad I bought an extra battery. The self-propulsion speed is extremely adjustable - from so slow that a snail might pass you, to so fast that an Olympic speedster would have trouble keeping up. But the self-propulsion is also a bit of a pain - when you disengage it, unless you push the mower forward a bit, the back, propulsion wheels, are locked up, and won't let you pull the mower backwards, which can be a real pain if you are up against a solid object. I have to rate it as no more than an "Okay" mower.

Hello Mark54. Thank you for sharing such a detailed review of your mower experience. We are glad to hear you appreciate the single-lever height adjustment and the wide range of self-propulsion speeds. We understand your concerns about battery runtime and the difficulty maneuvering backward when the self-propel is disengaged. RWD mowers offer better traction, particularly on hills and uneven surfaces, as the rear wheels can grip the ground more effectively. They also tend to maintain traction better when the grass bag is full. However, RWD mowers may require a slight effort to turn, as the operator needs to release the self-propelled lever to pull the mower backwards while still holding onto the start lever or pivot on the rear wheels. We have a video that will show you how to operate your self-propelled mower. You can watch the video here (https://youtu.be/NUN1HvDgwrY). We hope you will find this information useful. If you require any additional support or have questions regarding a product, we recommend try our Q&A section on the product’s page or Chat with us direct on our website www.greenworkstools.com.
