Upgraded to this self-powered version from the 80v push mower and I'm so happy I did. The push mower was great, very light and powerful blades, but our yard is a medium size and it got a little tiring towards the end. This upgrade powers right through, while still being easy to maneuver. I do need the extra battery life that this kit comes with for my yard. The old push mower could do our whole yard on 4ah, but this mower almost used the full 6ah with added self-propel. The arm folding mechanism on this one is much easier than the push mower as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already owned the 80v chainsaw and leafblower so when I needed a new lawnmower to cut the grass on a rough and hilly lot this seemed like a great option. As was the case for my other Greenworks tools, it exceeded my expectations. I love the variable speed drive control and the ease of use. It climbed my hills with ease and the cut quality was good even where the grass was long. I also like that it holds 2 batteries but only needs 1 to operate. If you have a lot of mowing to do you can put one on the charger while cutting with the other for continuous cutting.

I grew tired of dealing with the cord. I only considered Greenworks for a battery powered mower because my othe Greenworks mower was so great. Needless to sat this mower is awesome. Cuts great. I can do my entire yard with the 5ah battery. The power is not even an issue. 100% would recommend this mower.
