Amazing power and battery life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mower about 3 months ago and was very pleasantly surprised with how much power it had to mulch thick grass. And I with the 2 batteries, I had no problem mowing my 1/3 acre lot. I especially love how it senses thicker grass and automatically turns on turbo mode.

Solid Performer, Great Value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mower as part of a package with a trimmer and blower; it was very cost effective and has worked well. I wish the battery life was a bit longer but it only takes 40 minutes to completely charge again. I do like the interchangeability of the battery between the various tools - makes things simple.

The self-propel has a bit of lag to engage, but works great. I have noticed that you need to disengage the propel and push a bit to release the lock on the wheels.
Battery does not last for a whole mow, I'm able to get through bout 75% of ~7000 sqft.
Not a deal breaker for me as I take care of trimming while the battery charges.

If I were to purchase again I would opt for getting the bundle with two batteries over the one 4Ah.

Sufficient but needs improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mower is sufficient to mow the lawn I have, but barely. These should ship with 6 AH or 8 AH batteries, not 4 AH. Self-propelled works good but it is propelled from the rear. It would be a big improvement if it was propelled from the FRONT. This would make turning so much better and is common in mowers for the last 10 years. I love that you can adjust all the wheels at once with this model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With one cut behind me there are some pleasant surprises and only one quirk. Battery lasted longer that I thought it would. Next try I'll be doing the front yard and then topping off battery and finishing of the back to cut down charge time while motivated. Ratcheting mechanism for the drive had me confused for a sec till I learned to pull it out of drive a little earlier than I'm used to (the quirk.) Starting powered forward had me pleasantly surprised as it didn't just take off like the Honda did. Giving me that half step needed to keep up and not instantly try and keep up. Pace of the mower was spot on. Great value so far.

We live in a court, and I have always been able to cut the lawn with one 4.0 amp battery, no problem. I am still using it and now have the backpack blower, trimmers, etc. I decided to buy a new lawnmower for our son who had just bought a new house. This new model is amazing. I love the headlight too! I highly recommend that if you are in the market for your first electric lawnmower, that you would consider Greenworks. I guarantee, you won't be sorry.
