[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have several other Greenworks tools and am very happy with them. Upon receipt of this set the battery will not eject from the trimmer. I have to use a screw driver to pry it out.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Effective, Powerful

Hello Ron B. Thank you for sharing your experience. Our batteries do take a firm grip to pull the battery out. This is to ensure dislodgement does not occur during operation. Make sure the tracks on the battery are free of debris and dirt before you insert the battery, any debris can affect the movement of the battery. To remove the battery, push and hold the battery release button. Then, pull the battery pack straight out. In some cases, if the springs underneath have gotten locked down you might have to give a small push to the top of the battery to re-engage them to help the battery pop up. The battery pack fits snugly into the product to prevent accidental dislodging while in use; it may require a strong pull to remove. Before use, be sure that the rails on the battery and product are free of debris that could cause the battery to get stuck. Here is a video showing how to install the battery, you can watch the video here (https://youtu.be/Hw-_XmvcMHw?t=9). Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or require further assistance. We can be reached on Live chat (www.greenworkstools.com) or by phone 1-888-909-6757.

Happy so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only used the mower, blower and edger a few times. I love not having to destroying my shoulder pulling that 2 stroke cable. My other gear was decently maintained but the ease of dropping in a battery and pulling the trigger is so nice.
Mower did a great even cut. My "lawn" was a little over 4" tall. 2500sf, al.ost did the whole yard with one battery. My set came with two batteries so I was able to edge then blow with plenty of power left after. Oh yeah, I didnt see many reviews about the manual (non self-propelled) version. My lawn is flat so it was easy to push. No vibration issues and my "lawn" is bumpy.
Blower can be quiet when not at full throttle. Plenty of power for my needs.
46/M, easy assembly. If this lasts a few years I will be really happy. Ran fine in hot CA sun. Scalping lawn in 90° with no battery issues. Not something I plan to do often but good to know it worked well in the heat.
I like the look of the set. Bonus points for the mower colapsing for easy storage. I was concerned the set would be underpowered, that was not an issue. Again, if these items hold up the package is a steal!
Did full backyatd reno, hoping these tools help me get my new lawn even and full.
I will update if any problems.
Pros: Convenient, Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Quiet, Effective, Powerful

An "Okay" mower
on September 9, 2025
Posted by: Mark54
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have now used the mower two times, and I have mixed feelings. The biggest pro is the fact that the cutting height for all four wheels is controlled with a single lever - no more having to adjust each wheel. But there are more cons than pros. First, the battery drains quicker than expected - it cost me extra, but I'm glad I bought an extra battery. The self-propulsion speed is extremely adjustable - from so slow that a snail might pass you, to so fast that an Olympic speedster would have trouble keeping up. But the self-propulsion is also a bit of a pain - when you disengage it, unless you push the mower forward a bit, the back, propulsion wheels, are locked up, and won't let you pull the mower backwards, which can be a real pain if you are up against a solid object. I have to rate it as no more than an "Okay" mower.

Hello Mark54. Thank you for sharing such a detailed review of your mower experience. We are glad to hear you appreciate the single-lever height adjustment and the wide range of self-propulsion speeds. We understand your concerns about battery runtime and the difficulty maneuvering backward when the self-propel is disengaged. RWD mowers offer better traction, particularly on hills and uneven surfaces, as the rear wheels can grip the ground more effectively. They also tend to maintain traction better when the grass bag is full. However, RWD mowers may require a slight effort to turn, as the operator needs to release the self-propelled lever to pull the mower backwards while still holding onto the start lever or pivot on the rear wheels. We have a video that will show you how to operate your self-propelled mower. You can watch the video here (https://youtu.be/NUN1HvDgwrY). We hope you will find this information useful. If you require any additional support or have questions regarding a product, we recommend try our Q&A section on the product’s page or Chat with us direct on our website www.greenworkstools.com.

A Solid Performer for a Medium Lawn

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a solid, capable mower that does its job well. The 80V battery provides plenty of power to get through a medium-sized lawn without any issue, and having two batteries is a convenient feature. The self-propelled function works as expected and is helpful on inclines. The 4-in-1 options for handling clippings are a practical touch, offering good flexibility.
It is a fairly heavy piece of equipment, which is worth noting. While it performs reliably, the price point is still a consideration for the value.
A good, efficient choice for someone looking to switch to battery-powered lawn care.
