Great Mower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mower has enough power to mow a ditch with very thick growth. The propulsion helps when the growth is thick and tall. I wish I had the rapid charger just to help with charging one while I’m using the other when I have a lot of heavy duty mowing to do. I’m buying more greenworks items!

An "Okay" mower
on September 9, 2025
Posted by: Mark54
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have now used the mower two times, and I have mixed feelings. The biggest pro is the fact that the cutting height for all four wheels is controlled with a single lever - no more having to adjust each wheel. But there are more cons than pros. First, the battery drains quicker than expected - it cost me extra, but I'm glad I bought an extra battery. The self-propulsion speed is extremely adjustable - from so slow that a snail might pass you, to so fast that an Olympic speedster would have trouble keeping up. But the self-propulsion is also a bit of a pain - when you disengage it, unless you push the mower forward a bit, the back, propulsion wheels, are locked up, and won't let you pull the mower backwards, which can be a real pain if you are up against a solid object. I have to rate it as no more than an "Okay" mower.

Hello Mark54. Thank you for sharing such a detailed review of your mower experience. We are glad to hear you appreciate the single-lever height adjustment and the wide range of self-propulsion speeds. We understand your concerns about battery runtime and the difficulty maneuvering backward when the self-propel is disengaged. RWD mowers offer better traction, particularly on hills and uneven surfaces, as the rear wheels can grip the ground more effectively. They also tend to maintain traction better when the grass bag is full. However, RWD mowers may require a slight effort to turn, as the operator needs to release the self-propelled lever to pull the mower backwards while still holding onto the start lever or pivot on the rear wheels. We have a video that will show you how to operate your self-propelled mower. You can watch the video here (https://youtu.be/NUN1HvDgwrY). We hope you will find this information useful. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my original lawnmower in March. 2 Weeks ago the transmission stopped propelling the mower. I received my replacement within 10 days and can get back to keeping my yard neat and trim.

Better than gas mower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my mower for over a year and recommend it to everyone that asks. I have a huge yard and the battery lasts the whole time. The motor revs up automatically when you encounter thicker or higher grass (doesn’t both down like other mowers). Makes mowing quick and easy with no gas and oil checks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mower works great both for cutting the lawn and picking up the leaves. Our property has quite a bit of slope to it and the self propelled feature makes easy work of the incline. It is a great product.
Pros: Convenient, Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Quiet, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful
