Works great so far. Able to mow about 1,5 acres before battery slows down. my only "complaint" so far is the reverse with blades on as one needs to stop mowing, turn off the blades, push the button and keep holding it as you turn the blades back on.

Speedy little ninja machine!

Upgraded from an old John Deere Riding Mower. The SPEED of this riding mower is awesome for my 4 acre property. Had to learn how to go downhill - ended up in a ditch because it's WAY better to go UP hill when mowing hillsides. The mower is quiet, and the batteries last my entire yard and some! If it shuts down at 5%, just turn it off, wait a minute or two, and the mower will be at 25% when you turn it back on. That will get you back to the shed to switch out batteries. Mine came with 6 installed and 6 extra - so I just swap them out and I'm back in business.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful

good mower

The mower is a good one, study and very good mowing. The only issue is traction on hills and moist grass, although I think all zero turn mowers have this issue. I do wish the batteries last longer.
On a positive note I hit a large rock with the mower body and there was no damage…heavy duty!!!

Not recommended for St. Augustine grass

Cutting height is 2.5 inches maximum. Too low for my lush St. Augustine grass. I have the 8 amp battery and I'm barely able to finish my front yard. If the grass is a little high, I can only do half my front yard. My lot is only 1/4 acre. Greenworks says the advertised run time is if you don't use the self propelled feature. It takes a couple of seconds after you disengage the self propelled lever to pull back on the mower. They refuse to refund my money.
Pros: Quiet
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

80V package not very impressive

Purchased: March 12, 2026 - 80v mower, trimmer, blower combo
Notes: First purchase of battery powered mower. Yard is small (6,000 sqft). St. Augustine grass.
Pros: Sturdy construction, made in USA, blower is awesome
Cons: Battery runs out after 30 minutes. Purchased 80v for longer run time.
Trimmer is heavy and cumbersome. I'm still using my old Ryobi trimmer because it is so light and easy to use. Was going to buy a Greenworks edger attachment and extra 80v battery, but Ryobi edger with battery and charger was less than half the cost of Greenworks.
Mower motor response is slow to rev up for thicker grass, leaving uncut blades of grass all over the yard. Wheels lock up if you pull backward after releasing self propel.
My takeaway is that I don't feel like there was any advantage to buying the 80V package.

Exceptionally well built, this however increases the weight and if you have hills or steep inclines expect runtime to be reduced. Also, hills and slopes will need to be dry to prevent slipping. Charging is simple and relatively fast, very reliable. The machine will cut through very tall and wet grass - again runtime will be reduced.
The claimed “Up to 4 Acres” - this must be for perfectly level, smooth, minimal trim level and minimum turns - like a football pitch. The website does not specify what conditions are required to achieve the claimed acreage - nor does it advertise a runtime.
In our experience, 2 acres can be done with upgraded batteries- replacing the 4 x 6 amp hour batteries with 4 x 8 amp hour batteries.
Overall very pleased, love the reduced noise level and no fumes. Would buy again.

Had it for a week and like the mower with the following exceptions:
1. The front tires are soft and leave rubber marks on my concrete driveway
2. The rear tires slip a lot on grass, etc. and if it is wet at all be careful. Not impressed with the tread
3. The wall charger for the mower does not shut off once the charging is completed for the mower batteries and you have to unplug the charger from the mower.
