Literally took it out of the box and the charger already has a the blinking red light. Crazy that your product is all about the batteries and then the most crucial part of the whole product doesn’t work. Insanity.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The battery is not shipped fully charged. It is recommended to fully charge before first use to ensure that maximum run time can be achieved. This lithium-ion battery will not develop a memory and may be charged at any time. To charge the battery, plug the charger into an AC power outlet. Insert the battery into the charger. A flashing red light on a charger when you first take it out of the box typically indicates a problem with the battery or charger itself. It could mean the battery is critically low, potentially dead, or that the charger is not functioning correctly.
We recommend trying the following troubleshooting tip.
When the battery is inserted into the charger and the status LED blinks red, remove the battery from the charger for 1 minute, then reinsert. If the status LED blinks green, then the battery is properly charging. If the status LED is still blinking red, remove the battery and unplug the charger for 1 minute. After 1 minute, plug in the charger and reinsert the battery. If the status LED blinks green, then the battery is properly charging. If the status LED is still blinking red, then this likely indicates an issue with the battery or charger and will be taken care of by our team. We recommend contacting our customer support team for assistance with properly submitting a warranty claim. Too early to tell about time
Clippings bag much smaller than I am used to. Will require more frequent emptying in leaf season.
No problems with power so far.
Lights are a small waste of energy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to have a spare on hand before tariffs kick-in. Couldn't find this kit anywhere except this site. Price seems reasonable considering the fan is included, although I'm not sure why I'd need to replace that.
