Consider a second battery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went with the most powerful. I'm glad I did. I only mow every other week. This baby shredded through weeds and grass without stalling. Battery died before completing little more than .25 acre. I like to mulch maybe we battery died. This is more powerful than my gas lawnmower that won't start. I need a second battery for my yard.

Works great, no problems at all. Ideally it would have a way to adjust to your walking speed, but otherwise excellent.

Good replacement for my gas mower

I've had a chance to use this a few times in varying conditions, and it works surprisingly well. I have been using a Cub Cadet SC 500 e+ (160cc) mower for the past few years, and had expected that the new electric mower wouldn't have the power to get through the tall, heavy grass. Surprisingly, the mower had no problem and actually did a much better job collecting the cuttings into the rear bag. The two 4Ah batteries provide much more time than I need to mow both the front and backyards. The only issue I had was one of the ring clips was not installed on the bag catcher rod, easily fixed.

Great Lawn Mower

I have lived in my home for 11 years and in 2015 was unable to mow the lawn due to my lungs having Pulmonary Fibrosis. I was unable to push are gas mower. So we bought the 80v self propelled Green Works lawn mower. I have no problem with this mower. It is durable, quick and the battery is very reliable.

Works as well as expected for my small lawn. On turbo mode and self propelled, it uses little more than one of the two batteries to do the job. Used it to mulch the autumn leaf fall in place and it did a great job, still with charge to spare

Mower itself is so powerful with the very thick grass I have, batteries are good and charge super fast

"What a machine!"

Just received this 80V 21", Cordless Battery, Self-Propelled, Lawn Mower & "What a machine!". I would recommend highly. It came with a 2A 80V battery 3/4 charged, & a 4A 80V new, uncharged which I put on the charger immediately.
As I couldn't wait, I loaded the 2A battery in & installed all parts as per the manual. Starting first time was simple & "by the book".
After 45 mins, I found I had cut my whole yard, using half speed & propelled power with the battery finally giving up.
