1st year with this machine. I love the convenience of no longer using gasoline. The lawn mower has excellent power to cut through any grass, And I still have 1/3 power on the battery after 2 mos. I feel this is one of the best purchases I ever made.

In the spring we upgrade all lawn equipment from gas powered to 80V cordless. My lawn looks better in less time and no one hears me!

Clogs while mowing

This mower does not do a good job of discharging the grass when it is cut. It clogs under the mower shroud and I have to physically shake the mower to clear the side discharge. I have actually completely removed the side discharge chute and it still collects all the grass under the mower.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with performance. Grass will bunch up when mulching if the underside of the deck if it has not been cleaned or if the previous cut was wet. Wet grass or grass stuck on the underside of the mower prevents improper mulching. If debris builds up on the underside of the mower during use, stop the motor, disconnect it from the battery, and then tilt the mower forward or on its side, and scrape it clean using an appropriate tool or wait until the grass dries before mulching. This mower lasts just as long as the non self-propelled mower from my experience, which is amazing! I have a fairly large lawn (over 1/3 of an acre) and I can mow my whole lawn with just 2 batteries and in pretty quick time.
I like that it's quiet! Mowing the lawn is much more enjoyable.
I like the adjustable speed settings, although I wish it was a tad faster on the high setting. It cuts really well, haven't noticed any clippings left behind and my lawn looks amazing after it gets mowed. You can't beat the look of the lines you get with this mower.
