Pros: Easy to Use, Quiet, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mower is sufficient to mow the lawn I have, but barely. These should ship with 6 AH or 8 AH batteries, not 4 AH. Self-propelled works good but it is propelled from the rear. It would be a big improvement if it was propelled from the FRONT. This would make turning so much better and is common in mowers for the last 10 years. I love that you can adjust all the wheels at once with this model.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lawn mower has great features like: being self propelled; variable speed control; grass mulching, bagging, or side discharging; upright storing to save space; LED headlight; battery capacity indicator; and one lever to adjust cutting height. Dual 80 Volt batteries allows plenty of power to mow tall grass without stalling and long run time without having to recharge batteries during mowing session.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have now used the mower two times, and I have mixed feelings. The biggest pro is the fact that the cutting height for all four wheels is controlled with a single lever - no more having to adjust each wheel. But there are more cons than pros. First, the battery drains quicker than expected - it cost me extra, but I'm glad I bought an extra battery. The self-propulsion speed is extremely adjustable - from so slow that a snail might pass you, to so fast that an Olympic speedster would have trouble keeping up. But the self-propulsion is also a bit of a pain - when you disengage it, unless you push the mower forward a bit, the back, propulsion wheels, are locked up, and won't let you pull the mower backwards, which can be a real pain if you are up against a solid object. I have to rate it as no more than an "Okay" mower.

Hello Mark54. Thank you for sharing such a detailed review of your mower experience. We are glad to hear you appreciate the single-lever height adjustment and the wide range of self-propulsion speeds. We understand your concerns about battery runtime and the difficulty maneuvering backward when the self-propel is disengaged. RWD mowers offer better traction, particularly on hills and uneven surfaces, as the rear wheels can grip the ground more effectively. They also tend to maintain traction better when the grass bag is full. However, RWD mowers may require a slight effort to turn, as the operator needs to release the self-propelled lever to pull the mower backwards while still holding onto the start lever or pivot on the rear wheels. We have a video that will show you how to operate your self-propelled mower. You can watch the video here (https://youtu.be/NUN1HvDgwrY). We hope you will find this information useful. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the 22 inch mower with 2- 4Ah 80 volt batteries. Bought it Sept. 1st only used it once. It is very easy to use and cuts great. The self propel is excellent and the hand control make it easy to use. It went up a good size hill very easily. I only gave it 4 stars because I only used it once. Could easily be 5 after a few more uses. Used on St. Augustine if that helps anyone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a solid, capable mower that does its job well. The 80V battery provides plenty of power to get through a medium-sized lawn without any issue, and having two batteries is a convenient feature. The self-propelled function works as expected and is helpful on inclines. The 4-in-1 options for handling clippings are a practical touch, offering good flexibility.
It is a fairly heavy piece of equipment, which is worth noting. While it performs reliably, the price point is still a consideration for the value.
A good, efficient choice for someone looking to switch to battery-powered lawn care.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased May 2023 .Had some problems first year however Greenworks stood by the warranty had lawn mover repaired . Aug 2025 80 v battery would not charge. Greenworks again stood by warranty (5 ) yrs. and replaced with new battery . Deliver was Fast Fedx received in three days. Mower does work well but not as powerful has Gas. Self-propelled I find to fast or to slow but does help. Turbo power does help with small chips and eggcorns Overall I paid a good price for unit. If looking for a battery powered mower I give it an * out of 10 But not for heavy duty mowing.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Environmentally Safe
