I am a retired landscape maintenance contractor. I have used numerous types of mowers over the year. If I were still In business the gas mowers would be a thing of the past. Power wise and cutting quality matches any old gas concepts. Cleaner, easy to store, no maintenance, no gas or oil needed. It charges quickly and cleans easily plus it can stand up in a corner. I’ve mowed my entire yard on one charge. (6000 square feet) the other noticeable thing is it’s metal/alloy deck. Most electronics have plastic. Easy adjustment on all 4 wheels at one time. Wish I had these in my day . Jobs would have been easier. How many gas mowers did I start in 35 years? It does bog down in tall grass without the turbo on.
It’s not perfect, but a very usable riding mower that has enough power for large areas as long as you’re efficient. Could be more stable, even on slightly wet grass if there is any incline you’re not turning you’re slipping.
I love my CrossoverZ Zero Turn Lawn Mower! I’m already comfortable with the zero turn feature but there’s definitely a learning curve to knowing the proper height for your grass. I got the bagging kit too, which again, learning curve. If the grass is ever so damp/wet it will get stuck in the chute. First time (messing with this) mowing my one acre took 6.5 hours. Second time with many adjustments, I did it all in 1 hour!!! The batteries have lasted and are heavy but function great. Only forewarning is the amount of power it takes to plug in all 3 units to charge them up. (I may or may not have blown my fuse to my shed a couple of times) As I mentioned, learning curve but this far I am very happy with my (extremely expensive) purchase!
Best lawn mower I've ever owned, glad I decided on the 80v 5a, finish the lawn with battery power still left. The part I like the most is I've never had a mower that mulched grass as well as this one does and at 66 years old I've had quite a few! Highly recommend
Great product, cuts like a gas mower with half the noise. Dual battery option keeps you going without having the change batteries. Many safety features almost to many as the forward progress lock on self propelled mode is a little annoying but you get used to it. That feature is the only thing keeping this from a 5 but I’m a hard grader.
The new mower has been flawless thus far. I own an 80V self propelled mower, an 80V leaf blower, and an 80V string trimmer from GreenWorks and all have been excellent. I have over 2 years on the blower and string trimmer so they are standing the test of time.
