[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With one cut behind me there are some pleasant surprises and only one quirk. Battery lasted longer that I thought it would. Next try I'll be doing the front yard and then topping off battery and finishing of the back to cut down charge time while motivated. Ratcheting mechanism for the drive had me confused for a sec till I learned to pull it out of drive a little earlier than I'm used to (the quirk.) Starting powered forward had me pleasantly surprised as it didn't just take off like the Honda did. Giving me that half step needed to keep up and not instantly try and keep up. Pace of the mower was spot on. Great value so far.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mower works great with decent power. Started using mower a few months after we bought it and unfortunately the rebuilt 4.0Ah battery lasted two charges and fails to charge. Ironically the smaller 2.0Ah battery still works fine.
Pros: Easy to Use, Quiet, Powerful

Hello Tom R. Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about the experience you had with the 80V 4Ah battery. Greenworks, renewed 80V battery is backed by a a 90-day warranty. The battery life span will be determined by storage and care which is located inside the owner’s manual. When the battery is not in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. It is recommended to store the battery at full charge, and if it is being stored for a period where no use is expected, to check on the charge every couple of months. If you notice the charge has dropped, we advise charging the battery back up to full before returning it to its safe storage place. Following these steps will ensure you receive most of the battery life. Should you have any further questions or warranty needs, contact us through Live Chat on www.greenworkstools.com or call Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline 1-855-345-3934. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best lawn mower I have ever owned. I'm so thankful I went with greenworks. My summers are going to be a lot better because of the self-propelled lawn mower.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good mower for a medium mostly flat yard. Leaf blower has excellent power. Weed wacker is a bit heavy but solid build
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second review of this mower. I have been cutting grass for 55+ years, and I have never disliked a mower as much as I am disliking this mower - I wish I had gotten my grass-powered mower repaired, instead of buying this mower. This mower gives a poor, uneven cut - thick, heavy grass, or light grass. When you disengage the self-propulsion, it's impossible to pull the mower backwards, until you push it forward a bit, or "bounce" the mower. This mower is extremely difficult to maneuver in tight quarters, or when you have to cut around something in your yard. The battery does not last nearly as long as claimed. All I can say is, don't waste your money.

Hello Mark54. We appreciate you taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience with the mower has been frustrating. The issues you have described with cut quality, maneuverability, and battery runtime are not what we want our customers to experience. Runtime can vary and depend on a few factors, including but not limited to using self-propelled, self-propelled mowers do use more batteries than standard push mowers as more power is being demanded from the battery to run the blades and the wheels. Grass texture and consistency. Cutting height and lawn size, when grass is not too thick and well maintained under 4 inches. For added runtime, we recommend purchasing an additional battery, Greenworks 80V batteries are interchangeable with 80V units, the higher the ampere-hour (AH) rating is on the battery, the longer the run time will be in comparison to a lower ampere-hour battery. The self-propelled feature is not usable in reverse. They are designed to lock when pulled back to prevent damage to the drive belt. If you are using the self-propelled feature, the mower will attempt to move forward and will be difficult to move backwards. You would have to release the self-propelled lever to pull the mower backwards while still holding onto the start lever. We hope this information helps you understand our product better and perhaps encourages you to give it a second chance! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my original lawnmower in March. 2 Weeks ago the transmission stopped propelling the mower. I received my replacement within 10 days and can get back to keeping my yard neat and trim.
