All I need

Owned the ups for about 6 months and have had a few power flucuations with one outage. I have the internet modem, router, internet phone and main wireless phone base plugged into the battery. Surge protection has TV, Tivo and a few other components. When the outage occurred, all the battery connected components remained live, without interruption for over an hour. I feel much better knowing that all the expensive electronics will survive the power outages and flucuations. The only feature I wish the unit had would be a way to disable the beeping when the power is out. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase!

We continue to buy this identical unit for various installations of our desktop hardware that we provide to our clients, The units AVR feature adds stability and long life to our equipment and we find the battery life to be exemplary.

Excellent support and timeliness

Tripp Lite provided excellent support when the product I purchased stopped functioning. Their customer service provided some steps to help determine if the device worked and when they determined the unit was at fault Tripp Lite quickly sent a replacement. Great support and team at Tripp Lite.

Safty for TV and PS3 and PS4

Got 2 of AVR550U to secure and protect our TV and connected game console PS3 and PS4. Works great and still does it job! Also just got TripLite SMART1500LCDT for computer/server.

Tripplite Quality at a great price

This is the fourth identical unit that I have purchased in the last 18 months for our customer installations supporting high performance PC's. Our environment suffers from severe storms and multiple blackouts during the winter season. By experience I have found that the Tripplite AVR circuits regulate fluctuations easily and that the UPS function switches on nearly instantly with enough stamina to keep our computers running and when necessary the automatic shutdown circuit interface with Microsoft Windows works perfectly.

I have four Tripp-Lite UPS--one for each computer and one for the stereo gear and TV. I don't care a great deal about fancy features. What I want is solid protection and that's what I get with Tripp-Lite. Highly recommended.
