Easy set up; unpackaged, removed the tape and orange strips, and plugged it in. Fast set up for wireless connection - can easily print from iphone and ipad. copies too.
It’s true—you get what you pay for. In the hopes of entering the home laser jet market with something I could afford now, I bought this printer. It connected just fine the first time to Wi-Fi. And now, it neve stays connected. What a waste of money. Upgrade and get a Canon instead—wish I had just saved up the money and waited.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there.
I’m sorry that your printer has failed to maintain a reliable connection to your Wi-Fi network. I can certainly understand why the frequent need to re-establish the connection would be aggravating. I want to help you resolve this problem. I hope the resources I’ve listed below guide you to that end.
First, I recommend you visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various issues, including wireless connectivity difficulties. You can find that page here: - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics
You can also find troubleshooting guides specific to your printer – including ones on connectivity – in addition to user manuals, how-to documents and software updates here: - support.hp.com/us-en/product/model/30836610
If connectivity does not adequately improve, I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess what’s happening and find the best course of action. To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number - Serial number - Your location - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
