Excellent Printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the HP LaserJet MFP M234sdw Printer. I love it! It only took minutes to set up. It's easy to use and the best capability this printer has is that it's wireless. So I can print from my laptop or my phone, where ever I am. This is a black and white only printer. It comes with a scanner and copier. I also appreciate the instant ink subscription, it's an excellent deal. I highly recommend this printer.

Affordable, feature rich, AIO in a compact size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HP LaserJet MFP M234sdw is a compact printer packed with features. The plastic feels a tad soft but seems to be durable. The paper tray feels not as secure as I would have liked and it is on the smaller side. The control button placement on the tray cover is unusual but easier to use. Speaking of the buttons, the digital button has the essentials but I do wish that the buttons can be customized or a dedicated scan function. I like the ADF has a flap that functions as a cover.
I like wide range of device supported, and tons of connectivity options, and protocols. Setting the printer up is fast and easy. I opt for the wireless setup with HP Smart app on my phone and the printer is up and running in less than 5 minutes. Adding the printer to my other computers and mobile devices on the network is also a breeze.
The print result is good despite the fact that it has maximum resolution of 600x600, the texts are clear and no smudges. I found that waking the printer up to print a document sent via wireless takes a little time but once the printer is awake, the print speed is very fast.
I found that the HP Scan software takes quite a bit time to load but the UI is clean and easy to use. Also, ADF scan limits to 300 dpi despite the fact it supports 600 dpi (flatbed).
Overall, the printer is great for small home office or personal use. Considering the price, it is great device that packed many great features you found in more expensive models but in a very compact form factor.

Getting Better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally an HP printer that is easy to set up. I have owned several HP printers in the last few years and they always seem to be very difficult to setup. To save paper they have gone to short setup guides, which are usually lacking and often confusing.
After downloading the app (which they should just point you to the app store to find, rather than send you to a website that links to the app store), there was one page that was a bit unclear as it looked like you were supposed to connect the printer to Wi-Fi without there being any instructions as to how to do that, but after moving to the next page the app proceeded to connect the printer to my Wi-Fi (I only had to input my password) and then to set the printer up.
There were a couple of steps in taking off the tape (there was a lot o tope) and trying to insert the paper, which were not completely clear, but they were not show stoppers.
The printer is really fast and the prints are crisp and clear.
Still not a fan of Instant Ink Program, but fortunately it is free for the first 2 months.

Very easy to setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have no problem with setting up this printer to my Wifi (with I worry about), this printer has very fast speed and right now I don't have any problem with this printer.
And I did some research if you don't want the HP+ subscription make sure you get the version with the 'e' at the end. Works fine with air-print and air-scan. Tried it from windows.
Overall great printer and scanner with great quailty.

Great little All-in-One!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very first thing you will notice about this AIO is how compact and light weight it is. It is truly a fit for executive office looking sleek!
Setup - Setup could have been slightly better but it was uneventful. It requires you to download a utility from Microsoft store to connect the printer to wi-fi. I wasn't able to do this on work laptop due to download restriction. But once I connected the printer to wi-fi, I was able to add it on all my laptop/desktops using standard "add device" prompt.
Printing - One of the things I immediately noticed was how quickly the printer activates and starts printing from sleep. My other AIO takes at least 30 seconds before it prints first page, HP does it in less than 10 seconds. Printing works well and double sided worked just fine. The quality of print is comparable to most laser printers.
Other - I have not tried scanning yet but it does show up as all in one on my laptop so I am fairly sure I can scan it to file on my laptop. I may have missed the automatic document feeder for faster/bulk copying but I felt like it was unnecessary function. I rarely used it on my other AIO.

Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the printer a few weeks ago and it has qorked flawlessly since. I also had enrolled in HP Instant Ink. The online app is a synch to use and fices me the ability to print from my phone. The printer prints and copies very well and the printed documents are of high quality. I received an ink cartridge as part of the purchase offer but have not yet used it. The printer is of high quality, has a sleek and modern appearance, and functions very well. I hope to use it for many years in my home office environment. The WiFi connection to the printer is very reliable is automatically maintained. I would highly recommend this printer to others.

Great Printer

It was easy to connect to our wifi and even allows us to print from our phones - a great feature when working from different parts of the house. Printing is quick and the quality is outstanding - words and images print with a crisp clarity and bright, bold color. The auto document feeder has made scanning documents quick and easy. The ink lasts quite awhile.

Love my new Printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely great buy! We were so tired of ink jet problems and cartridge expense. I remembered our business used Laser printers. We rarely had any problems, printed way more pages, faster and cleaner then our last laser printer as well. Of course, ink cartridges are pricey but these are more affordable than other leading brands. This HP LaserJet MFP M234dw Printer was the very best (price and features including new toner cartridge's) in the selection of all Laser multi purpose black and white laser printers we researched. It was a long search. Took a few days of comparison shopping, but turns out this one was as advertised. Set up in about 20 minutes, that's un-boxing to running to the first test print. We set it up with a cable, (not supplied) but it does have the Wi-Fi option. It has a really compact footprint. Been printing a few weeks now, no problems, no adjustments or changes were necessary, software out of the box and set up from instructions pretty straight forward. Great Value, especially if you don't need color for everything you print. Scanned paperwork and saved effortlessly, and scanned our Id's in one shot certificates perfectly, also not to forget that it's super quiet too!! I definitely recommend!
