[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is so cool! I love the sleek packaging and the mini screen to select what you want to cook. It automatically weighs everything so no worrying about too much or too little water. You can also steam vegetables on the steamer rack which has been my favorite!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rice cooker is a great addition to my kithcen. It is big enough to cook rice for a large meal or I can make a smaller serving for myself. I love that the water tank handles that portion so I don't need to think about it. It can cook a variety of things which is nice and it has a steamer insert as well which I love. It's easy to disassemble and the parts can be put in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. And I really enjoy the smart screen feature. Makes the whole thing feel very high tech. It's not too bulky and it's easy to move around and store.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to give this appliance a five star rating because I am a devoted kitchen aid consumer. You can set the delayed cook 2 hours prior not anything shorter than that? You can’t cook a medium size batch of anything because it will bowl over. When you have a pot of gumbo on the cooktop and you want rice to feed six it’s too much. No more than 10 or so ounces dry or you get the warning. It over cooks even steel cut oats. Regular oatmeal is totally overcooked no matter what the setting. It cooks wonder jasmine and basmati rice in a small batch. I’ve cooked dried beans, oatmeal, steel cut oats, dried limas, and wild rice, jasmine and brown rice. It’s terribly convenient and I love so many things about it. Perhaps a custom setting will be the trick to oatmeal and improve the dried bean cooking.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid Grain and Rice Cooker is a game-changer for anyone who loves perfectly cooked grains without the guesswork. With 21 presets, an integrated scale, and automatic water dispensing, it takes the hassle out of measuring and cooking. I make rice or quinoa a couple times a week and I’ll put some frozen veggies in the tray to steam and everything turns out perfectly each time! It’s also on the larger side, so counter space could be a consideration if that matters to you. Overall, it’s a solid choice for effortless, foolproof grain cooking!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t excited to receive the KitchenAid Grain and Rice Cooker. It’s bulky and takes up too much space. I also found it unnecessary for my needs, as I prefer simpler cooking methods. Overall, not something I enjoyed getting.”
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid Grain and Rice Cooker is a really clean, simple and functional machine. When I received it, I couldn’t wait to cook grains and absolutely loved that it can cook almost any type of grain you can think of. Customization is also there where you choose the type of grain (even the specifics- what type of rice? Long grain, jasmine, sushi, etc) and the level of “firmness” you want- which is a specification I love. Once you put your grain inside the cooker, it automatically weighs it for you and determines the amount of water needed for both the grain and level of firmness you specified.
I have only tried the beans and rice sections so far, but I have so much more to explore. I definitely would recommend this product to any and everyone!
I’ve had this cooker for a few months now. I LOVE this thing! I’ve tried so many methods to have steel cut oatmeal ready first thing in the morning and nothing worked really well until this. I set it the night before and my oatmeal is ready when I get up. Then I re-set it to have rice for dinner. Honestly one of my best purchases.
