The pot flakes and I can’t get a replacement pot

I’m really sad to give this one star. I love this rice and beans cooker and we used it all the time! It cooks perfectly. The only problem is the pot ends up flaking. We don’t use anything that could possibly scratch it. We bought this because it is not the PFAS, it is ceramic coating. Unfortunately, I’m scared to use it now and I can’t find a replacement anywhere. Can you not have a replacement pot for such an expensive appliance… I mean, the pot is removable!

"I wanted this rice cooker for a long time and it has been a great purchase. My main issue was always getting the water ratio right to make the rice come out perfect, but this machine handles the measurements so precisely that it’s no longer a problem. You can make the rice with or without oil and the texture is always spot on. It has made my cooking routine much easier because I don’t have to guess anymore. Definitely a great investment if you want consistent results."

Mi mayor problema siempre era calcular el agua exacta para que el arroz quedara perfecto, pero esta máquina mide todo tan bien que ya no tengo ese fallo. Great purchase, love it

I bought this a few weeks ago and I have zero regrets. The grain and rice cooker is better than I expected. It is so easy to use and love that I don't have to measure anything. Just put rice in and make sure the water tank is full, then press and go! So simple and so worth the money

Make room on your countertops!

I’ve been using my KitchenAid grain and rice cooker for about a month now, and it’s become a daily staple in my kitchen. The preset functions are incredibly versatile, and I’ve never had any issues with the quality of the grains or rice that come out of it. Whether I’m making a small batch of potatoes with spices or a full pot of steel-cut oatmeal, the cooker always delivers on the expected results.
One of my favorite features is the steam function. I can add small potatoes and spices to the cooker, and within 20 minutes, I have a delicious side dish. I also use the cooker to make oatmeal, which I prepare first thing in the morning while I’m getting ready for work. It not only cooks the oatmeal perfectly but also keeps it warm.
The KitchenAid Grain and Rice cooker is easy to clean, especially if you take good care of the pot. The only issue I’ve had is with the steamer basket. It came out of the box in two pieces, so I have to use tongs to maneuver the basket out of the unit. I will increase my rating to five stars once I receive a new steamer basket from KitchenAid.
Otherwise, this is my most favorite appliance that I purchased in the last few years and it looks good on the counter beside my KitchenAid mixer.
