Sleek and Functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid Grain and Rice Cooker is a really clean, simple and functional machine.
When I received it, I couldn’t wait to cook grains and absolutely loved that it can cook almost any type of grain you can think of.
Customization is also there where you choose the type of grain (even the specifics- what type of rice? Long grain, jasmine, sushi, etc) and the level of “firmness” you want- which is a specification I love. Once you put your grain inside the cooker, it automatically weighs it for you and determines the amount of water needed for both the grain and level of firmness you specified.

Great kitchen appliance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kitchen appliance is amazing! It isn’t just a typical rice cooker, you can also steam veggies and fish in it as well! It is compact in size and fits perfectly on the counter. It cooks the rice perfectly and makes a dinner very easy to prepare in portions with its touch screen measurement features. This is great if your on a health/weightloss journey! You can cook for yourself or your family. Highly recommend this product, you will love it!

An easy machine to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a newbie with a rice cooker, plugging it up for the 1st time was easy. It prompts you through the overview and then has options for the type of rice or grain you are cooking. I chose a full bag, and the machine measures how much in the bowl so that it knows the precise amount of water to dispense. When it is done, it will beep. The cooker automatically goes into warm mode. I let mine sit for 30 minutes to see if it truly keeps it warm. It did! I thoroughly enjoyed cooking with the quality brand and will enjoy many meals from it!

Fluffy rice in no time!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried out the cooker by making white rice. I loved the quick cook feature!! It only took 30 minutes and the rice came out delicious!! It’s very easy to clean and is very quiet. It’s sleek as well and I love the touchscreen!

Long time to cook a little

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This may be good for families cooking a large volume of rice or grains at one time, but for just a couple servings it’s not really worth it. Takes a long time to cook and came out dry even with adjusting the settings. I do like that the bowl is dishwasher safe which makes cleaning a breeze.

Good product with a last bunch curve

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me 2-3 tries to get the perfectly cooked rice since the instructions written fetched me the wrong results everytime. I cooked rice and after 3rd attempt it came perfect. I made basmati rice and now I can confidently make it without ruining the rice. To cook perfect rice, you need to rinse it and soak it for 10 15min before putting in the pot to cook it. If you don't have the time up soak it just add a little extra water in the pot before or after it dispense the water to cook the rice.
