Broken just out of warranty. Expected better.

We purchased this in August 2024. Now in December 2025, just a few months outside the 1 year warranty, the scale is wildly inaccurate no matter how many times you zero it, so all the cooking is off and it can’t be used. Very disappointed a kitchen aid product lasted such a short time. I will say until the scale problem it was wonderful, and we used it several times a week.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This might be the best kitchen tool I've ever bought! I am notorious for burning oatmeal and farro. This creates the perfect texture! And the bean soaking— it's so much cheaper to buy dried beans so this is also saving me money. (Special thanks to Jennifer Garner and her fake cooking show on Insta.)
I purchased this a few months ago and absolutely love it. I use it for rice and beans at least 4 times a week. I wish all appliances worked like this one.
This Grain and Rice Cooker is terrific and sooo convenient! This made it easy to eat steel cut oatmeal every morning. We just put some steel cut oatmeal into the pot and the cooker figures out the amount water needed and the right amount of time to cook. It even has a delayed timer and warmer. So perfect for people of convenience and on the go. Such a handy item. We love it!
We use this appliance to cook rice several times per week. Very easy to use, and the rice comes out perfect. Only bummer is that the black pot, can easily get a paint chip.
This unit is not worth the money that was spent on it. It is complicated, lacks directions in the owners manual, I would recommend this unit to anyone

This product surprised me. It really makes fantastic beans in a set it and forget it way. You can tell they spent some time on the settings, and you can customize a setting if one of them isn't quite perfect. It made perfect wild rice on the first try. It's really helpful for vegan / vegetarian households. Highly recommended!
