Do not purchase for international travel!!!

I bought this to take to Australia with me as it’a advertised as being auto world voltage. I purchased the appropriate outlet adapter to use with this type of tool. I got to Australia, plugged it in, and the iron starting smoking and crackling. The iron does not work and it essentially blew up my outlet adapter too. Do not purchase for overseas use.

I absolutely think this is one of the best straighteners I’ve ever had. Between the ID mechanism and the plates it straightens my hair so smoothly, and I even have an easy time curling my hair which I’ve never been able to do with a straightener. I love this so much I’ve bought the curl ID curling iron, which ended up going back and I’m sorry, but I will never send back the straightener.

I love this flat iron! I was looking for a 1” flat iron and decided on this one after trying a few others. I love the settings and how it remembers your previous settings. It’s super convenient. It’s smooth and feels very high quality. I use it for straightening, waving, and curling and I think it’s fantastic for all of them. It’s also beautiful.

I bought it because I needed dual voltage for travel, and it worked well. It’s also relatively lightweight, so handy for keeping luggage in check. My only complaint is that it does not come with a way to secure the tongs - a cover or loop would be helpful, especially at this price point, and for travel purposes.

This straightener does a great job, but it is very difficult to turn on and adjust the settings. Plus I thought it had a display with the actual heat setting number, but it does not. I had to watch a video to see how to adjust the settings, but still feel it is running too hot. Plus it leads you to believe that it will read your hair type and set the correct heat setting, but this does not work as described either.
This would not be one that I would buy again and I have owned multiple brands in the past.
