How to order a mixer and never receive one working

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not what they used to be

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a mid 80’s Artisan model that started leaking oil, I had it serviced, and all was good. When it started leaking oil again, I decided to replace it with an Ankarsrum (great for heavier doughs). .I purchased a new Artisan because the Ankarsrum does not shine in smaller or light batch doughs. The Artisan does what it was designed to do, but it has a more flimsy feel compared to my old one. The mixing attachments are much lighter in weight, and they’re no longer held in place by a spring. When making butter cookies, it creamed the butter, sugar, and egg like a champ, but when adding the dry ingredients, the top arm started to jump. I’m grateful that I have both mixers to accomplish different tasks. If the Artisannwill be your only mixer, I would encourage you to consider upgrading your mixer to a different model.

This is my second Kitchen Aid Mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The one I just replaced was 20 years old. I used it frequently and abused it with
overuse I'm sure. It was always there for me. 20 years is a long time in the appliance world.
I got a brand new beautiful Artisan . No other choice for me, it had to be a Kitchen Aid.
It is the Truffle Dust color and just lovely.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased with Inscription but came without.

I purchased the custom 5-quart stand mixer with the engraving option. The mixer came without the engraving. The mixer was in excellent condition, but I would not have chosen the color I did if I was purchasing without the Inscription but the options were limited to specific colors. The Inscription was my sister's name, Gena. Imagine the disappointment as she opened the gift expecting that personal detail, and it wasn't there.
