Robustness made in America

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted this stand mixer for years and I finally decided to purchase KitchenAid’s best seller. It looks very robust without any plastic part, only cast metal, no slack when it’s working. There is no easier way to make thick doughs. I also purchased the pasta attachment to replace the manual machine I had before because I broke it after years of frequent use and I hope the pasta will be as easy to do as I did before.

Hoping for another 15+ years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box come on my mixer motor was making a strange screeching noise and speed 68 and 10 are all the same. I called customer service and they sent me a replacement right away. The shipping and returning of the old one was quick and easy and I was very pleased with the customer service.
This 5 quart KitchenAid replaced a 4 1/2 quart that I got for my wedding 15 years ago. I used it a ton and it served me well. The new 5 quart mixer is a little bit bigger which is nice, and my only complaint is that sometimes my ingredients in the very bottom of the bowl are not incorporated. So I just have to make sure that I scrape the bowl between mixing’s all the way to the bottom. I wonder if the spatula type attachment would solve this problem?

My dream mixer

I also plan to buy some attachments in the future to do even more with this fine piece of equipment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this roughly a month ago and it has been a blessing in the kitchen! As an aspiring baker, it has truly raised my chances to practice recipes and baking. It also isn't near as loud as I expect a stand mixer would be.

Does a great jobs and nice features

Nice to be able start it and leave it, so I can do other tasks. Not sure I like the coating on the beater and hook. Only time will tell.
