Love it - opened and used Christmas Day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't believe I waited this long to get one. I had the hand mixer forever and did not realize how much easier it is with the stand mixer. Ordered the large flowered ceramic bowl to go with it. Beautiful color, it will stay on display when when not in use.

The perfect addition to my kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a new owner of the Artisan mixer and I couldn’t be happier. It really is the ideal appliance and a must have for any kitchen enthusiast. It has handled everything from pizza dough, breads, and sweets with ease (I speak for smaller batches). I will say that I was worried because during the first use, it started to bounce up and down. Luckily, a small adjustment corrected it. Hopefully it isn’t something I will have to worry about often. Other than this, I have no other immediate concerns and look forward to future uses.

Don’t purchase

My hand mixer died during my last batch of Christmas cookies & still had pies to make. I ran out & saw a good deal on this mixer & decided to treat myself. What a mistake. The plastic bowl cover to prevent flying debris didn’t fit the bowl. Was a busy time so I didn’t get too upset. Next .... while mixing some batter, I realized that the bowl has a concave bottom that all the flour packed itself into & didn’t get mixed in with the batter. That really upset me as it defeats the whole purpose of having a mixer. It should mix, especially at the cost. At clean up time I tried to remove the attachment and it is stuck in place and can’t be removed. I’ve have never in my life experienced this of a kitchen aid product and am greatly disappointed. I now have no desserts & no mixer!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
