Love my mixer!

I’ve had this mixer now for six years. It still works brilliantly! I’m still not the best of cooks, but I use this for many different things … like baking, kneading and shredding chicken.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this mixer. The green is a beautiful accent in my kitchen. The attachments make doing just about anything a breeze. I inherited my old one, which was probably about 10+ years old, so this is my first new one!

Great appliance, but fix the add on issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a gift that I do love, I have hesitated for years to buy one for myself. I was afraid that I would not be able to whip cream as well and that I would have an issue with it not getting all ingredients off the sides. Well, it does whip cream as well as my 1982 Oster, it just takes longer, but it definitely still has an issue with getting ingredients off the side of the bowl. I understand that an attachment will help with this, but am disappointed that this issue has not been taken care of and the attachment sold with the bowl. Instead, I will purchase an off brand since they seem to have come up with a better solution for this appliance. Also, this same company sells a add on handle to help lift the appliance. Love the machine, just wish they would upgrade when a problem is known. Again, I waited years for this to be fixed and my Oster by the way is running.

I contacted the manufacturer and they issued a new one, haven’t had the opportunity to test this one yet but I wanted to give a thumbs up to the customer service team.

Frustrating outcome

I recently purchased the 5-quart Artisan mixer specifically for making bread doughs. Unfortunately, my first attempt was to make a small batch of French baguette dough, and I was surprised to see that the mixer really struggled. It appeared to stop and start; it was kind of scary. I am really hesitant to used it again. Perhaps the box could have had a warning saying that this mixer is unsuitable for making dough.
