[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Mom had a KitchenAid stand mixer, and as a kid she taught me all I know about cooking and baking. I always wanted one, so I made a decision to buy because it is the best on the market. Mixing ingredients for bread it is wonderful. I love the advantages of available attachments too. Most of all, it is a fond reminder of my Mom who passed away 3 years ago.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not as powerful as the previous Kitchen Aid stand mixer I pu

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Kitchen Aid stand mixer that I purchased in approximately 1995. The power on/off lever stopped working so I had to purchase a new mixer. The new model, artisan, looks pretty but does not have the power nor the speed that my previous model had. Although the wattage is supposedly higher than my previous model I just don't see how that can be correct. I back often and I am not thrilled with my recent purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
