I love my KitchenAid!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting this beautiful mixer for years and had tears in my eyes when my husband surprised me with this mixer just this past Christmas. I immediatly put it to use by making a big batch for fruitcake and it was incredible, it worked wonderfully and saved me so much time! Can't wait to use it for all my baking needs and to use the different paddle attachments!

Worthy of the hype

Cooking in style

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having the perfect mixer can really make a difference when it comes to cooking and baking. I do a lot of different types of foods and this makes it so much easier to get it done easier and it goes so much better. This has different attachments for the different things I make. The dough one is great for all my bread mixes and really makes it so much better and easier on me. I am able to get my stuff to a consistency needed without having to kill myself with trying for ever to get it just right. I absolutely adore the whisk for making cream-based foods. The bowl has a poor shield which is awesome for not making a giant mess like I use to. The handle on the bowl really helps when I am moving it and I do not worry about dropping it which I have done before and it is not fun. I am in love with the attachments that came with this mixer and how easy it is to attach them to the mixer itself. I do not have to have a bunch of kitchen appliances now to do all the different items. The attachments go on so easy as well as come off easy to clean. I had no idea shredding cheese could be this simple with the attachment. I was not aware you could do this prior to getting my kitchen aide mixer with attachment. We go through a great deal of cheese and this will make it so much easier, no more doing it the hard way. This is a must have for any kitchen even if you cook just a little this still makes it so much easier and really will make you want to cook more, it does for me with how easy it is to use.

Problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first kitchen aid we purchased had to be returned because of a motor problem. After one use the motor stopped working. It would freeze up and only run when I started it by spinning it manually. This was quite disappointing but Belk department store replaced it with no problem. So this rating is on the first one.

I Feel Like I'm Moving Up In The Baking World!

I have been using other brands of stand mixers all my life, not knowing how much nicer the KitchenAid stand mixer is. I immediately made a pound cake with the mixer and for lots of little reasons (mainly not having to scrape down the bowl every few turns), the KitchenAid model is so much easier to use than my older models. Yes, the KitchenAid is much heavier, but its features sure made my baking easier the other night. So glad to finally have a KitchenAid stand mixer (with a tilting head).

A must have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know how I'd survive without my KitchenAid mixer. My wife makes a lot of baked goods and I'm always making Memaw's old Pierogi recipe. It would easily take us 10 times longer without this mixer and the results would be half as good. Plus we love the look of the mixer, fits in well on any countertop.
