Kitchen Workhorse saves time

I’m a second generation Kitchen Aid fan, between my mother, my daughter ahd me, we own 5 in various sizes. My go to is my 5qt Artisan. If it has to be mixed, it goes into the Kitchen Aid. Meatloaf, creamed potatoes, dough, cookies, cakes, meringue, chicken salad, everything except brownies. Couldn’t do without my workhorse in my kitchen. I’d give it more stars if I could.

Frustrated at lack of response

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for Christmas, after my last mixer went out and the first time I used it the latch that locks the mixer head down broke. I reached out to kitchenaide over email to see if I could get a replacement and they contacted me back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Features and Quality

This one is much lighter and I am thrilled to have a tilt head. It performs well in all my cooking endeavors and the paddle with scraper is wonderful.

I believed I needed the right tools to start, being a tool guy I knew the Kitchen Aid mixer was the only choice to start my baking journey. I’m starting off slow and easy. Made pretzel dough for some excellent tasting treats. They came out perfect. Now it’s time to step up my game . And there’s no limit with the Kitchen Aid mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my previous Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer for over 40 years. Yes over 40 years. I was very sad to see it go for sure. But since you have not changed this product except for adding more and better options on how to use it, I did not have to think twice about replacing it with this Artisan Series 5. Kitchen aid mixers have helped me bake cookies, cakes, strudel and bread for as long as I can remember. My kitchen would not be the same without one. I loved the color options and decided to pick the turquoise blue as it has the feeling of retro, bringing a kick to my kitchen I look forward to as many as 40 years more using this for the baking I love to do. The only thing now is that the mixer will outlive me!

I find it to be surprisingly quiet and consistent in mixing. Easy to clean and I love the color!!!
