We have been a KitchenAid fan for over 30 years,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid mixer that we bought 30 years ago still works fine, but we wanted to have a second mixer, as a back-up. Unlike many families today that don't cook much, we cherish the favorite recipes of our mothers. We appreciate the sturdy metal construction of both our mixers and expect the new one to last another 30 years. I learned about adjusting the screw in the articulating elbow of the mixer, to adjust the height of the paddle. This needs to be reinforced because I have already seen a Youtube where the reviewer thought her KitchenAid mixer was defective because the paddle grated on the bottom of the bowl - easy fix with the adjustment of the screw.

Ask Your Wife Before You Buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received what I thought were hints my wife wanted a mixer, but the party balloons all deflated when it was unwrapped on Christmas day. She could not justify the space it takes up on the counter based on the amount of baking she does in the kitchen. I thought that Kitchen Aid provided me a machine with great build quality, an inexpensive replacement warranty and additional accessory bonus at an amazing price, but it's being returned.

Great mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. Only used it for several batches of cookies and whipping cream. So much more efficient than with hand mixer. Only one negative: was disappointed to discover the head doesn’t lock in the up position.

Why did I wait ?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Why did I wait so long to purchase my Kitchen Aid? It made my life much easier when it came time for holiday cookies. Learning to use the mixer is easy and online ideas are helpful. Loved the color selections and accessory options offered. I am anxious to try something other than cookie dough.
