The original and the best stand mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been talking about getting this KitchenAid model for years, and I'm so happy to have finally gotten one! It's significantly cut down my time in the kitchen, and it really does work as well as everyone says it does. It's also easy to assemble and disassemble, even more so than my hand mixer. There is a reason a KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer is on so many people's wish lists: it's the original, it's the best, and it's absolutely worth the investment.

" I Finally Got My Dream "

I finally after we moved to a new address was able to order a new KitchenAid 5 quart Tilt Head Stand Mixer with Flex Edge Beater. I got a Red mixer also. I have already made many dishes and items with my new mixer and it is AWESOME ! I finally made my dream come true !

KitchenAid always delivers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had previously owned a 275-watt model, but thought a large bowl-lift model would be more useful. Bought the Pro 600 and sold the 275. Well, my wife couldn't lift the new one, so we bought a Mini for general use. Unfortunately that relegated the Pro 600 to very occasional use. Crazy.
So, we bit the bullet and ordered the Artisan 5 qt 325-watt model, which she can pick up and is strong enough to handle anything we throw at it! I make my own bread and my wife is a very skilled baker, so it's already been put through its paces. Works perfectly, and looks good on the counter to boot!
One downgrade is the customer experience; we ordered after seeing the expected ship date. The date comes and goes without delivery. Having sold the Mini, we had to use the Pro, which was frankly overkill and didn't do the best job with the smaller batch size. Couldn't even cream the butter for cookies properly. I called customer support and was told "that's an estimate based on the yearly schedule". If true, it should be noted on the website, rather than irritate a customer. Most every other retailer can give a more accurate delivery date.
All said, I love the mixer and own many other KitchenAid appliances! A soft-start feature would be welcome on this or any mixer.
