First off, aesthetically the matcha color is absolutely beautiful, even better in person. The mixer works like a dream. It makes baking even more enjoyable than before. I can't wait to get the additional attachments to try new things. If you're on the fence about buying one, just pull the trigger. You will not be disappointed.

It shorted out the 2nd time I used it, BUT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The one we traded it in for has been working fine. My boyfriend gave me this mixer and then immediately proposed, so because of the sentimental value I was more sad than I should have been when it shorted out in the middle of the second use. He exchanged it and the new one (same version) has been working just fine. It should also be noted that I grew up being a by-hand mixer my whole life so this is my first time using any mixer. I'll never go back. My arms are going to be so weak!

The actual shade of green I wanted was not avail to me and so I love green I was okay with getting the one I did. I makes the mixing process for the cakes I make and my sweet potato pie in a snap.
